Timothée Chalamet’s GQ cover story reveals his feelings on those steamy Lily-Rose Depp pictures

We’ve all been young, in love, and taken oodles of selfies with our partners, snogging their faces off. It’s all part of the fun of growing up! But imagine the press taking those photos without your permission, and then blasting them across the internets for the world to see. “I went to bed that night thinking that was one of the best days of my life,” Timothée told GQ. “I was on this boat all day with someone I really loved, and closing my eyes, I was like, indisputably, ‘That was great.’”“And then waking up to all these pictures,” he continued, “and feeling embarrassed, and looking like a real nob? All pale? And then people are like: This is a P.R. stunt. A P.R. stunt?! Do you think I’d want to look like that in front of all of you?!”Lily-Rose Depp, who is the daughter of French actress and dancer Vanessa Paradis and American acting icon Johnny Depp, has never spoken publicly about the photos, and her and Timothée split up back in the spring.
