Because they only draw the line at underwear.

Hurrah, TikTok has finally restored the Lizzo's swimsuit videos! And to think all it took was a little shade-throwing, Lizzo style. On March 3, the 31-year-old took to TikTok in a new video in which she implied the social media platform was taking down her swimsuit posts because of her curves. “TikTok keeps taking down my videos with me in my bathing suits. But allows other videos with girls in bathing suits. I wonder why? Tiktok… we need to talk,” she wrote over a video of herself getting her hair done while lip-syncing to Erin McMillan’s “I Know.”Because it’s Lizzo and because she has 3.5 million TikTok followers (at least 2.1 million of which liked the post), the platform wasted no time in figuring out what really happened. According to them, they took down the singer’s post not because of her size or a swimsuit, but because they initially thought she was in her underwear (even TikTok has limits, guys). On March 5 a spokesperson confirmed to Page Six that once employees had a chance to review the video they realized she was indeed wearing a swimsuit. At that point they restored the video to her page and everything was once again “Good As Hell.”[video_embed id='1912148']RELATED: Lizzo facing counter suit over her breakout song[/video_embed]Fans of the body-positive advocate are chalking it up as a win, especially those who supported her from the beginning with comments like, “Because you’re glowing queen, and people cannot handle!” Lizzo is as known for her music as she is for sharing all of herself on social media, holding little back as she spreads the good word about self-love. Often, she pairs that advocacy with stunning photos of herself in a swimsuit or other revealing wardrobe choices and inspiring captions.
“Self-care is really rooted in self-preservation, just like self-love is rooted in honesty. We have to start being more honest with what we need, and what we deserve, and start serving that to ourselves,” Lizzo wrote in a 2019 op-ed for NBC News. “It can be a spa day! But for a lot of people, it's more like, I need a mentor. I need someone to talk to. I need to see someone who looks like me that's successful, that's doing the things that I want to do, to know that it's possible.”So far Lizzo hasn’t responded to TikTok or the video being reinstated. Instead, she’s just continuing to be her fabulous self while creating new videos to entertain fans with—including one with her mom, in which the pair wear matching towels and lip sync. “Been in Detroit w family. This makes me smile. Hope u smiling too,” she wrote in the post. That’s Lizzo for you. Taking down the haters and replacing them with a smile, one post at a time.[video_embed id='1914454']BEFORE YOU GO: Shawn Mendes threw Camila a surprise Cinderella-themed bday party[/video_embed]
