This bizarre TikTok ad starring Lindsay Lohan has the internet baffled

We know times are tough, even for former Hollywood A-listers, so subsidised on-camera flatulence, in this economy, can perhaps be forgiven. That said, Lindsay Lohan may have crossed a line. Lohan, in a collab with something called Famera, has produced the most confusing and indecipherable spon-con we’ve seen since Khloe Kardashian literally got into bed with Febreze.Sourced via the website Cameo, which let's users commission short, custom videos from celebs, the ad really is something to behold. It combines farts, quasi-religious rhetoric, and so much more strangeness into a 30-second video—while, at the same time, managing to say nothing at all about the product it’s hawking to the TikTok-using public. One might be tempted to say it stinks, but thankfully our smartphones don’t come equipped with that feature (yet). See (without having to smell) for yourself:

Intrepid internet detectives did some digging on Famera, whose tagline encourages approved users to “be togetherous” and “enjoy belongment.” It seems as though the app — which requires potential adherents to be admitted into the Famera universe via some sort of elite selection process that evaluates their ‘vibe’ — is a modified video chatting program that places the disembodied heads of chatters into some kind of low-budget, semi-psychedelic VR cartoon situation. As opposed to just seeing their messy kitchens, unmade beds, or pretentious book collection. In short, it’s a bit meh."To keep the Famerican realm dope and diverse, you gotta chat to The President. If you pass the vibe check, you'll score an invite," reads the app’s online how-to guide.
