There's an Elton John Barbie and it's fantastic

Mattel is going after two different cohorts of collectors with its most recent release: a new limited edition Barbie doll outfitted and styled to pay homage to music legend Elton John. Marking the 45th anniversary of John’s unforgettable and record-setting Dodgers Stadium show in Los Angeles, the release of the commemorative doll is a collaboration between Elton and toymaker Mattel and has been dubbed the ‘Tiny Dancer’ doll after the singer’s 1971 hit.[caption id="attachment_5043008" align="alignleft" width="960"] Mattel[/caption]This blonde, curly-haired doll is ready to rock out like the Rocketman in a glittery bodysuit, rainbow-trimmed track jacket, purple bowler hat, rainbow-striped platform shoes, and flared jeans embroidered with the singer’s initials. The cherry on top of the sartorial sundae, however, are Barbie’s sunglasses, styled after the iconic oversized shades that are John’s fashion trademark.
