We all know Scarborough-native The Weeknd aka Abel Tesfaye is a ‘Starboy’ but is he also a virgin? We’re not sure if he’s taking us for a ride here, because the singer parodied himself on Monday night’s episode of Seth Macfarlane’s long-running animated series American Dad, and right before he was set to have a liaison with the lovelorn Hailey, he dropped this whopper on top of dropping a new single entitled, “I’m a Virgin.” We are gonna need a minute to process this information. We are ‘Blinded by the Lights’ if you will.In the episode, which was even co-written by The Weeknd, he voices a parody of himself out to save the world by saving himself for marriage. As Hailey tries to seduce the 30-year-old singer, he stops her in her tracks. “I have a confession, I’ve never told anyone this before,” he admits. Then he launches into this absolute fire track with lyrics like, “I’m waiting for the right person! Tryna act super tough, but inside I’m a 12-year-old boi! ... You wanna hold hands, then sign me up! But just know you’re not gonna score!” Dang. This track SLAPS.“But, why?!” Hailey asks.“Containing my seed gives me superpowers others don’t possess,” he says. *Spoiler Alert:* by the end of the episode, he dies saving the world from the plague. So we gotta agree with him there.[video_embed id='1777720']RELATED: The Weeknd shows off new look at TIFF premiere[/video_embed]Tesfaye had teased on Twitter previously that this episode was about to drop, saying, “A Starboy is Born” and including a picture of him next to an American Dad poster, but this new information is not something we could have seen coming. Tesfaye has previously been linked to many beautiful starlets and socialites of Hollywood, including model Bella Hadid, and singer Selena Gomez. In fact, his single “Heartless” is rumoured to be about how those ladies described him as a partner. Although that cannot prove or deny his chastity.Talking to Variety, Tesfaye stated, “I always wanted to play a character that was the opposite of the public’s perception of me — and of course make fun of myself.” Look, that’s all fine and good, but we need it explicitly stated, have you knocked boots or not, Abel?Fans naturally are having a field day with this new song, with half of them heaping it with praise, and the other half wondering when they can stream it on Spotify. But we need to know why he didn’t do a duet with the character Steve? Cmon now, this is SO STEVE’S THING![video_embed id='-1']BEFORE YOU GO: This giggling fox might make you want a fox[/video_embed]
