We’re not sure how he keeps doing it, but somehow John Krasinski continues to top his weekly feel-good show
Some Good News with more feel-good episodes. Krasinski’s latest successful attempt to go above and beyond to help everyone find the good in tough times was focused on a couple in Maryland who had to cancel their wedding. John and Susan are such big
Office fans that John re-created Jim’s (Krasinski) on-screen proposal to Pam (Jenna Fischer) IRL. Could this couple celebrate with a standard 2020 Zoom wedding? Sure but Krasinski saw fit to gather the entire cast of
The Office to recreate their viral dance from Jim and Pam’s wedding. Pass the dried fruit, but no apricot, it’s time for a reunion.Krasinski and his impressive SGN crew, who manage to pull together
massive guests each week, surprised Susan and John by inviting their parents, best man and maid of honour to this week’s
Some Good News episode. To make things official, Krasinski became ordained online. Since Susan’s father couldn’t be there in person to walk her down the aisle, Krasinski helped make the day special by inviting country artist Zac Brown to perform his new song “The Man Who Loves You the Most.” It’s a sob fest.
Krasinski then surprised the couple with an addition to their wedding party care of the real-life Pam, Jenna Fischer. The actress delivered one of her most famous lines from the show, telling Susan and John “When you're a kid, you assume your parents are soulmates. My kids are gonna be right about that.” Truly, sobbing. But what’s a wedding without a choreographed dance routine down the aisle? Steve Carell, Mindy Kaling, Angela Kinsey,
Ed Helms, Kate Flannery,
Ellie Kemper, Brian Baumgartner, Phyllis Smith, a vogue-ing Oscar Nunez and Creed Bratton all returned to dust off their dancing shoes, or in Baumgartner’s case, dancing tissue boxes, to re-create their iconic moves from Jim and Pam’s wedding. Actor Rainn Wilson even enlisted the help of his wife to play Pam’s bridesmaid whom he accidentally kicks in the face during the choreographed dance scene. There’s a reason why

Some Good News launched with the reunion of Krasinski and his
Office costar Steve Carell, which marked the 15
th anniversary of the beloved series debuting on NBC. Kraskinski has continued to surprise viewers every Sunday night, including episodes with a
prom featuring Billy Eilish and the Jonas Brothers, a graduation ceremony with Oprah and Steven Spielberg, a performance by the original cast of
Hamilton, and a quarantine cooking special from Martha Stewart and Guy Fieri. Krasinski concluded this week’s SGN episode making it very clear that he is aware of the increasingly high bar he has set for himself.“That will do it not only for this episode but for the first and only
SGN wedding, because let’s be honest, how does it get better than that,” said Krasinski.
