Sweet, sweet plantains.

In the good year of 2020 we’re totally fine to admit that we’re still obsessed with everything and anything that is Lizzo. And like an old-school couple who cares a little too much about routine things like what each partner had for lunch that day, that includes wanting to know exactly what the star’s favourite meal is.So what IS Lizzo’s favourite thing to indulge in? She says plantains. Maduros-style (fried), with cream. Something tells us Jillian Michaels would not be down with that but heck, isn’t enjoying delicious things part of what living your best life is all about? And TBH we could kind of go for a plate of ‘em now that they’re in our heads. Maybe with a little Juice?[video_embed id='1858042']RELATED: 2019 was the Year of Lizzo[/video_embed]Anyhow, Lizzo made the big reveal during a quickfire interview with Gayle King that was released on Twitter to help promote The Gayle King Grammy Special airing this Thursday. Lizzo is obviously a hot contender at this weekend’s awards show, being the most-nominated artist of the night and all. Luckily King asked Lizzo more than just her favourite food, because Gayle is… well, king. She wanted to know what Lizzo’s dream collaboration is (“I’ve already done it: Prince and Missy Elliott.”), her favourite song to sing in the shower (“Cuz I love you.”), and what she would be if she wasn’t a musician (“A music teacher. Save the music, y’all!”).The entire interview took place over a bite to eat, which is really the best way to conduct such conversations, don’t you think? Actually the easy rapport between the women (and Lizzo’s signature laugh) made us kind of wish for some sort of King-Lizzo spinoff series in which they just chat about all the things over French fries.Maybe that also has to do with the fact that when King asked the artist whom she would love to trade places with for one single day, Lizzo put it all back on King. “Ooooooooooh. You! Let’s swap!” she said. “Okay! No, what’s your real answer?” King pushed a couple of more times before Lizzo pretended to hyperventilate while thinking of who she’d love to trade places with. “You know, I would switch with… ugh this is so hard. It could be literally anybody,” she said. “I would switch with Sailor Moon. She’s so cool. I would just want to transform.”Now the real question is, how long do we think it will take for Lizzo to voice some sort of new Sailor Moon movie? Or better yet, star in a live-action version? Those plans are TBD, but you can bet we’re all ready to watch Lizzo own the night “Like A Girl” at the Grammys and prove she really is “Good as Hell” this weekend.  With eight nominations—including Record and Song of the Year for “Truth Hurts,” it will be quite the shocker if she walks away empty-handed.As if Lizzo fans would let THAT happen. Clearly this gal is gonna need a bigger purse.[video_embed id='1880072']One last thing: Harry delivers an emotional speech explaining why he and Meghan are stepping down[/video_embed]
