Sophie Turner shares never-before-seen pregnancy photos on Instagram

Eager fans who may have been just a little bit bored in quarantine were definitely looking for updates from Sophie Turner during her pregnancy. But while the Game of Thrones actor wasn’t exactly dishing out the photos, she made up for that with a stroll down memory lane this past weekend.On September 27 Turner hopped on Instagram to share a few never-seen before photos of her and her baby bump including one of her in the pool with her pooch, a sweet shot of someone (Joe Jonas?) feeling her tummy over some PJs, and a third in which she’s sitting on a lounge chair in a green bikini.

The 24-year-old didn’t caption any of the pictures, although she did include emojis of a pregnant woman, hearts and the sun. Which, for some parents out there, may say it all. While Turner and Jonas have been notoriously private about their personal life, Us Weekly did confirm that they had given birth to a baby girl named Willa this past July.Before the birth fans never got an official confirmation that the couple, who wed in May 2019 at a Las Vegas ceremony following the Billboard Awards, was even expecting. Various outlets reported the news and some photographers captured photos of Turner’s baby bump, but the stars themselves remained mum.

This past April—when Turner would have been pregnant—she did tease a little bit about what she and Jonas had been up to in quarantine when she appeared on Conan O’Brien’s talk show. "I mean I'm an introvert. I'm a homebody," the 24-year-old said, as per E! Online. "Just like, if I could stay at home all day I would, so this is great for me. I leave the house once a day anyway to walk my dogs and then that's it." The outlet also reports a source close to them as saying that they’re settling in pretty well, all things considered. "They are home and getting settled," the source said. "Joe is very hands on and involved. He wants to do everything he can and loves being with the baby and helping Sophie."

Turner and Jonas have been romantically linked since 2016, after they met on social media by sliding into each other’s DMs. By October 2017 they were engaged, and they haven’t looked back since. “I think once you’ve found the right person, you just know. I feel like I’m much older a soul than I am in age,” Turner revealed to Rolling Stone following the engagement. “I feel like I’ve lived enough life to know. I’ve met enough guys to know—I’ve met enough girls to know. I don’t feel 22. I feel like 27, 28.”No matter how old Turner feels these days with the addition of a newborn (and more than a few sleepless nights), one thing is for sure: Turner and Jonas fans are more than thrilled to finally get a glimpse of Turner the mom.
