The Golden Globes might not be until next year (technically, just over seven weeks away), but it's already shaping up to be one dapper night. Firstly, there's the return of Ricky Gervais as host, marking the actor-writer-comedian's fifth time boozing it up behind the podium. And secondly, we just got word on whose star's kid will be handing out trophies at the ceremony and looks like we're getting two for the price of one.The Hollywood Foreign Press Association announced Thursday night that Pierce Brosnan's youngest sons, Paris and Dylan Brosnan, will be the 2020 Golden Globe Ambassadors. The role changed its title in 2017 from Miss/Mister Golden Globe because not only do they help with handing out Golden Globes throughout the evening but they also do charity work and raise awareness for the cause they're championing. And Paris and Dylan chose FEED, which delivers healthy meals to school-aged children around the world and was founded by Lauren Bush. But what makes this time so special is that it's a duo getting the gig. "For the first time in Golden Globe history, we've proudly selected two brothers to represent the Hollywood Foreign Press Association this awards season," HFPA president Lorenzo Soria said in a statement to Variety. "Dylan and Paris Brosnan have already achieved tremendous success in the fashion world and are following in their father's footsteps in entertainment. We're excited to see how they'll use this platform to contribute their talents to elevate the important issue of childhood hunger."
Dylan, who is set to graduate from the USC School of Cinematic Arts next year, spoke on behalf of himself and his brother. "We're proud to honor our dad's legacy as we join the incredible roster of previous Golden Globe Ambassadors, many of whom have gone on to pursue their own dreams in the entertainment industry. The biggest lesson our dad taught us is to 'be kind,' which was an essential factor in Paris and my decision to study filmmaking and our desire to tell important stories. Having this opportunity to turn the spotlight outward on kids experiencing hunger is a true privilege."According to Variety, the brothers learned about a month ago that they would be the new ambassadors and had no idea their dad and mom (journalist and author Keely Shaye Smith) even submitted them as contenders.

"Our mom called us when we were both in film school," Dylan recalled. "We went out of class to take the call and she said you guys have been asked to be the Golden Globe ambassadors and we couldn't believe it, we were over the moon."The Golden Globes will air on January 5 on CTV. The nominations will be announced on December 9. Hopefully they'll all be ready for the wrath of Ricky.[video_embed id='1827469']Ricky Gervais set to host the Golden Globes for the 'very last time'[/video_embed]
