It looks like Kirk-Badgley has been documenting this pregnancy and birth through various artforms, including the pictured placenta art and taking a mold of her body while pregnant. The musician also shared to her Instagram stories a photo dated August 9, 2020 featuring herself in the process of having her upper body casted, likely for a piece of artwork. At time of press, Badgley had yet to post any photos or give fans an update, and the baby’s name remains unknown. While this is the first child for the couple, Kirke-Badgley also has a 10-year-old son named Cassius from her previous relationship with musician Morgan O’Kane.Kirke-Badgley announced her pregnancy news earlier this year in February, revealing that her road to this baby had been a long one, filled with heartache. “Pregnancy after loss is a whole other thing. After two miscarriages in a row we were ready to call it,” she shared on social media. “I stopped trusting my body and started to accept the fact that I was done. As a birth attendant, I’ve seen and heard it all,” she continued.“It takes everything I’ve got to detach lovingly from the losses I’ve been present for and be in my own experience. When I was pregnant at 25, I knew nothing. I had no community. I dove in blissfully unaware about birth and its mysteries. Now, with 10 years worth of experience to pull from, I treasure my birth community and the knowledge I have. You’re already teaching us how to stay in the day in a way we’ve never had to, little one. Thank you,” she wrote.[video_embed id='2038616']MORE CELEB COUPLE NEWS: Halle Berry may have just confirmed a new relationship [/video_embed]Kirke-Badgley, whose sister is Girls star Jemima Kirke, and Badgley first started dating in 2014. Last year, Kirke-Badgley spoke about how well Penn filled the role of stepparent for her son Cassius.“He doesn’t have to be ‘dad’ so he can have more fun with him,” Domino told Us Weekly last October. “It’s really nice. The stepparent thing is definitely unchartered territory for me cause I didn’t grow up with one, but… he takes care of him really well.”Sounds like Badgley was made to be a dad and a "Lonely Boy" no more.
