North West won Twitter after rapping at the Yeezy show in Paris

There’s no other way to describe the look of sheer joy on Kanye West's face except to say he was one proud papa as six-year-old North West stepped into her dad’s Yeezy shoes at Paris Fashion Week and grabbed the mic to sing an (almost) original song.Kanye gave his daughter the chance to perform “This Is My Style” while models fashioned the latest monochromatic pieces from his collection during the eighth Yeezy show, adding a personalized and fun touch to the entire affair. “I will never do bad things / Walk to the street / What are those / I have new shoes, they're really cute,” North West rapped as the models stoically looked on and Kanye, who at one point joined his daughter onstage, bobbed his head up and down, grinning.Kim Kardashian seemed just as proud of her firstborn, although unlike Kanye she remained in her seat and filmed the impromptu performance for her Instagram stories, loudly cheering on her kin. For her part, North West seemed completely comfortable on that stage, which is either telling of her upbringing in the spotlight or proof that she’s a natural. Not everyone was 100 per cent behind the performance, though. The song was set to the beat of “What I Do,” from another pint-sized performer named ZaZa. The child, who has been gaining fame and even appeared on an episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, obviously couldn’t defend herself so her parents jumped on Instagram following North West’s performance to weigh in on the lack of credit.“We take PRIDE in creativity, and believe whether a child’s involved or an adult... creativity deserves RESPECT/homage! What @kimkardashian (Kanye west) are doing with their daughter... with the inspiration of ZaZa & our family in mind is okay... we not mad BUT PLS SHOW LOVE AND SUPPORT TO THE ORIGINAL FIRST!!!” they wrote.Kim immediately responded in the comments, writing, “We love you, North is a huge fan and records in the studio all the time with her dad and is inspired by ZaZa and loves Lay Lay too! Todays performance of North’s remix of ZaZa’s song was something she asked to do at the last minute and a complete surprise. I didn’t mean to not give credit where credit was due. Would love for the girls to meet soon.” She then further rectified the mistake on Twitter.

Of course as those who have followed North West’s career already know, this isn’t the first time the kid has thrived in the spotlight. Sure, it was her first official solo performance, but she’s also joined her pops during his Sunday Services, hit up the runway at the L.O.L Surprise Fashion Show, and has been learning piano and violin since she was four years old.Recently, Kimye’s daughter also launched her own private TikTok account, where she gets her creativity on in all of her spare time. Sounds like your average six-year-old, no?Given that kind of resume, and knowing who her parents are, it’s pretty much anyone’s guess as to what, or where, North West will perform next.
