Nina Dobrev and Shaun White make Instagram couple debut

It looks like things are heating up between Nina Dobrev and Shaun White. Months after the pair were rumored to have begun dating, it looks as though they have made their Instagram debut as a couple. Or, at least as two people helping each other out during the quarantine. Dobrev may be best known as an actor, but we think she has a future as a hairstylist as well. Look at those clean edges!

Dobrev and White both posted images on their Instagram page showcasing the Run This Town actor’s skills with scissors and clippers. White has been lamenting his hair growth during quarantine and it looks as though Dobrev has had enough, arming herself with styling tools and some YouTube knowledge? A tutorial via FaceTime by a professional hairstylist? Really, how did she do such a great job? Asking for friend who is currently not speaking to us because of their poorly shaved head.

The Canadian actor shared a before and after picture of her rumoured new boyfriend with his sleek haircut, marking the pair's semi-official debut on Instagram. Official would be a kissing picture or maybe some declaration of love, but really, isn’t trusting someone with scissors and clippers next your head the same as saying ‘I love you’? As for White, he uploaded a time lapse video showing Dobrev’s handiwork. “My hairstylist said he wouldn’t, so she did,” wrote White, adding the hashtag #QuarantineCuts.

White and Dobrev are the latest couple to take their relationship to the hair level, which in quarantine has resulted in some good and some not so good mane outcomes. This would be a great time for White to return to his long hair days from his early professional snowboarding career, but we’ve gotten use to the shorter ‘do and with summer coming, nobody has time for that.

Dobrev and White first got the rumour mill going about a possible romantic relationship back in March when eagle eye fans began noticing that many of their social media posts were taken at the same spot and around the same time. It appears that the two spent the early months of 2020 traveling (remember traveling?) to South Africa together. Once COVID-19 hit stateside, the pair began spending time close to their homes in Los Angeles and were spotted by Page Six enjoying a leisurely bike ride in Malibu that ended with a kiss. The plot thickens.

More recently, Dobrev and White have been sharing photos of short car trips they’ve taken to Nevada. Dobrev has also posted photos from Utah, which borders Las Vegas’ home state. On May 9, Dobrev use the running shoe emoji as the sole (pun!) caption for a picture of her feet next to another pair feet in matching sneakers. White is often photographed in the same tennis shoes. In the world of celebrity couples, we are considering this as close to a romantic confirmation as we need to begin our shipping. Our stanning for Dobrite has commenced.
