Miley Cyrus and Cody Simpson are healthcare taco delivery heroes

With our attention turned to the shortage of personal protective equipment (PPE) that doctors, nurses, and other frontline medical workers are facing in the fight against COVID-19, we’re glad that celebs like Miley Cyrus and Cody Simpson aren’t forgetting about the other, less obvious essentials. You know, like… food? The duo, who’ve been dating since last October (following Cyrus’ August 2019 divorce from Liam Hemsworth and a brief romance with Brody Jenner’s ex-wife, Kaitlynn Carter) showed up to share their support (in the best form imaginable) for healthcare workers this past Saturday.The pair showed up at their local hospital after loading up their car with Mexican munchies destined for the hardworking and hungry hospital employees. Cyrus and Simpson donated 100 taco lunches in total. Cyrus captured the drop on his Instagram pages, showing off the trunk full of tacos, each packed in a bag carrying a message to their local healthcare heroes. “Thank you for your support and love. Stay strong!” read each individual packed lunch.

Launched just two weeks ago (yeah, we know, it feels more like two decades) Miley’s hour-long Bright Minded podcast has hosted guests like Ellen Degeneres, Elton John, Demi Lovato, Selena Gomez, and Reese Witherspoon — and tackled nothing-to-sneeze-at-topics like mental health and the environmental crisis.
