In case you missed it, or don't keep up with royal birthdays, Prince Harry turned 35 on Sunday. And the social media savvy Duchess Meghan knew exactly how to mark the day and pay tribute to her husband—by showing the world the good Harry does AND what a great father and son he is.Meghan commemorated September 15 with a collage of nine amazing photos on the
Sussex Royal Instagram account. We see all that Harry has accomplished over the years but pay close attention to the pic in the bottom right corner. It's from Archie's christening day in July and shows Meghan sitting on a sofa holding the baby while Harry crouches in front of both his loves. It's like Meghan is in our heads and knows exactly what we wanted to see and then keeps the good vibes going with several throwbacks that's kicking our nostalgia into overdrive.
First, there's a photo of his mother, the late Princess Diana, holding a bundled-up baby Harry as they deplaned. There's also a pic of Harry waving on his first day of nursery school (yes, those are his dad Prince Charles' legs in the shot), as well as a pic of teens Harry and William in 1999 attending the wedding of Prince Edward and Sophie Rhys-Jones, now Countess of Wessex. But then we see him go from boy to man, with one shot of Harry shaking hands with children, pics of Harry in his military garb, a shot from their royal visit Down Under, and of course a pic from their wedding day. Along with a general greeting, Meghan included her own personal message: "Your service to the causes you care so deeply for inspires me every day," she wrote at the bottom of the caption. "You are the best husband and most amazing dad to our son. We love you. Happiest birthday!"The photo of Archie and his parents was taken by Chris Allerton, who in addition to being the photographer on
Archie's christening day, also took the shot of the Sussexes
introducing the baby to The Queen and Prince Philip for the first time as Harry and Meghan's mother, Doria Ragland, looked on. But the glorious pic of Harry holding Archie, honour the new dad on
Father's Day? That was all Meg.Harry also received birthday messages from his brother, Prince William, and sister-in-law, Duchess Kate,
on Instagram. "Wishing a very happy birthday to The Duke of Sussex today!" And the Royal Family's official page got in on the action as well, captioning
the pic of Her Majesty and Harry smiling away at one another with, "Happy Birthday to The Duke of Sussex–35 today!"All of us this as we gear up for the Sussexes'
royal trip to Africa, which is fast approaching, and we look forward to even more pics of the adorable family of three.
