Here’s a trio we didn’t expect to see together this past weekend... or ever, really. It appears husband and wife duo Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively have a new friend in Mariah Carey, and all we want for Christmas is to know how this happened. The Grammy-winning singer shared a snap of the trio hanging out together on Saturday, with a special appearance by Carey’s twins Moroccan and Monroe. Or, mini-Deadpool and Monroe.Carey uploaded the star-studded picture, which included her son Moroccan, who goes by Rocky, wearing the Deadpool mask made famous by Reynolds. “Rocky snuck up on an unsuspecting couple wearing a Deadpool mask,” wrote Carey. “Will they ever recover?” According to Reynolds’ comment on the snap, they may not. “Whoa. My vision board became a photo,” wrote the Vancouver native.

It’s unclear what led to the hangout between the trio, but what we do know is that we want to see more of it. Deadpool and Mariah Carey teaming up for an R-rated remix of “All I Want For Christmas?” We’d download that.[video_embed id='1822255']Mariah Carey is re-releasing her famous Christmas album in some unique ways[/video_embed]Lively’s appearance in Carey’s Instagram may be one of the last social media moments we’ll see from the new mom of three. Over the weekend, the Gossip Girl star wiped her Instagram page, which means now fans will have to rely solely on Reynolds for super cute posts teasing his significant other. Maybe Lively wanted to go out on top of the trolling game.Lively’s account now only includes a trailer for her new film The Rhythm Section, in which she plays a woman seeking revenge after her family is killed by a bomb on a plane. The dramatic thriller also stars Jude Law and Sterling K. Brown, and is set to premiere in January.

Lively’s new social media status is reminiscent of her previous decision to unfollow almost everyone on Instagram when promoting her 2018 film A Simple Favor. Directed by Paul Feig and co-starring Anna Kendrick and Henry Golding, Lively only followed women with the name Emily Nelson, which was the name of her mysterious character in the film. This time around for Rhythm Section, Lively has once again gone on an unfollowing-spree, but unlike with A Simple Favor, she is continuing to follow husband Ryan Reynolds. So hopefully we’ll still have the odd loving troll moment. The move to clean up her social media is a smart marketing decision on Lively’s part, and a quick and easy way to declutter her feed. Lively and Reynolds welcomed their third child, a daughter, this past summer. Between raising a family and navigating a demanding career, Lively probably doesn't have time to scroll through targeted ads on social media to get to content that’s been posted by friends and family. We’ll call this a #MomHack for the celebrity world.[video_embed id='4186153743001']Baby hilariously imitates mom's laugh[/video_embed]
