Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox are going strong and taking the next step in their relationship, which for a musician means including home video footage in their music video. MGK released the music video for his new single “Drunk Face” on September 29 and included several shots of himself with Fox, because when you’re dating one of the most beautiful actors in the world, why wouldn’t you put them in your music video? The new couple, who met on the set of Midnight in the Switchgrass, appear together in several shots in MGK’s “Drunk Face.” In one scene, Fox is painting MGK’s nails, while in another the pair enjoy drinks at a table with a group of friends. The couple are filmed making their way through a throng of photographers and boarding a private plane. MGK and Fox also share a kiss in one scene, cementing their love in music video history.
“Drunk Face” marks the second time Fox has appeared in one of MGK’s videos. The pair first starred together in May for MGK’s “Bloody Valentine” video, which showed the Transformers star torturing MGK as he played her reluctant lover sharing a large mansion. The video arrived shortly after paparazzi pictures of Fox and MGK together surfaced online, which prompted Fox’s husband Brian Austin Green to speak openly about the state of their marriage on his podcast. Green revealed that he and Fox had separated at the end of 2019 and made it clear that his estranged wife was not cheating by engaging in a new relationship with MGK, real name Colson Baker. “I don’t want this guy Colson, who I have never met, who she said nothing but really kind things about, I don’t want him to be vilified because nobody did anything wrong. It’s not like we are separating or anything because somebody cheated or somebody hurt somebody,” said Green, adding that he has always trusted Fox’s judgement.MGK and Fox have both spoken openly about their new relationship. The couple appeared on director Randall Emmett and Vanderpump Rules star Lala Kent’s podcast in July, marking their first joint interview. Fox called her musician and actor boyfriend her ‘twin flame,’ which is like a soul mate, but apparently much more intense. “A twin flame is actually where a soul has ascended into a high enough level that it can be split into two different bodies at the same time,” said Fox. “So we’re actually two halves of the same soul, I think.” See? Intense. On September 23, MGK appeared on The Howard Stern Show and discussed his new relationship with Fox, revealing that he asked a hurricane to move in order to spend more time on set with Fox while the pair filmed Midnight In The Switchgrass in Puerto Rico, a request that was answered. This twin flame stuff is powerful.
“Drunk Face” is part of MGK’s fifth studio album Tickets To My Downfall, which was released on September 25. The album has already taken home a VMA, with MGK performing at this month’s show, where he won for Best Alternative for “Bloody Valentine.”
