Jennifer Aniston’s opinions regarding the upcoming election have caught the attention of  independent candidate Kanye West, who has been asking his supporters to rally behind him in a write-in effort when casting their ballots this November 3. Aniston, who has expressed her support for Democrat Joe Biden, also dropped Kanye’s name in an Instagram post she shared a few days ago — but not in an enthusiastic, ‘Hey check out this guy’s platform’ kinda way.“This whole thing isn’t about one candidate or one single issue,” Aniston, 51, wrote. “It’s about the future of this country and of the world. Vote for equal human rights, for love, and for decency. PS – It’s not funny to vote for Kanye. I don’t know how else to say it. Please be responsible.”[video_embed id='2035535']RELATED: Kanye West says he won't release any new music on Sony, Universal[/video_embed]The long post, which was accompanied by a photo of a sweatsuited Aniston in sunnies and a mask, urged fans to think about who a vote for the wrong candidate (or a wasted vote) could end up hurting: vulnerable groups like children, the elderly, Black communities, and LGBTQ+ communities.

#IVOTED for @joebiden and @kamalaharris. I dropped my ballot off, and I did it early ?? I voted for them because right now this country is more divided than ever. Right now, a few men in power are deciding what women can and can’t do with their own bodies. Our current President has decided that racism is a non-issue. He has repeatedly and publicly ignored science... too many people have died. ⠀ I urge you to really consider who is going to be most affected by this election if we stay on the track we’re on right now... your daughters, the LGBTQ+ community, our Black brothers and sisters, the elderly with health conditions, and your future kids and grandkids (who will be tasked with saving a planet that our leadership refuses to believe is hurting). ⠀ ⠀ This whole thing isn’t about one candidate or one single issue, it’s about the future of this country and of the world. Vote for equal human rights, for love, and for decency. ⠀ ❤️?⠀ ⠀ ⠀ PS - It’s not funny to vote for Kanye. I don’t know how else to say it. Please be responsible ??

After Vanity Fair spotted the Insta post and wrote about it, Aniston’s political position became known to Candidate Kanye who has appeared to throw himself both into and out of the race several times over the last few months. The rapper screen-capped the VF article and its headline, “Jennifer Aniston Endorses Joe Biden, Tells Fans ‘It’s Not Funny to Vote for Kanye’” and captioned his own (temporary, now deleted) social media message: “Wow that Rogan interview got em shook Let’s gooooooooo.”The interview he’s referencing is one in which Kanye discussed everything from politics to COVID to the chemicals found in toothpaste in an expansive chat with right wing media mogul Joe Rogan last Saturday. And while West’s West Wing hopes look dim this year (with or without Jennifer Aniston in his corner), that doesn’t mean he won’t be back for another round of campaigning. “I’m definitely 100 per cent winning in 2024,” he told his host. “… I was thinking I would possibly be the Democrat.”[video_embed id='2049925']BEFORE YOU GO: 'Horse girl' from Alberta can gallop and jump just like a horse [/video_embed]
