Lily Allen and David Harbour aren’t letting a little thing like a pandemic stop them from saying ‘I do.’ The couple shared photos from their wedding on September 9, confirming that they are now legally wed and did it in traditional Las Vegas style, Elvis-impersonator included. Congratulations to the couple who pledged to love each other tender and not be cruel. The British musician and Stranger Things actor shared photos of their wedding day on Instagram, which included Allen wearing a chic off the shoulder white minidress. Harbour also kept his look timeless and classy in a dark suit. "In a wedding officiated by the king himself, the people’s princess wed her devoted, low born, but kind credit card holder in a beautiful ceremony lit by the ashen skies courtesy of a burning state miles away in the midst of a global pandemic," wrote Harbour in the caption for his wedding post. "Refreshments were served at a small reception following."
Harbour’s post included a picture of him lifting Allen up in front of the Graceland Wedding Chapel, while an Elvis impersonator poses with the couple. The second image shows the pair enjoying their post-wedding dinner at In-And-Out Burger along with Allen’s daughters, Marnie, 7 and Ethel, 8. Allen and Harbour were first linked in January 2019 when they attended the BAFTA Tea Party together. The couple went Instagram official the following October when Harbour posted a blurry picture of the pair together at Disney World. In May 2020, Allen sparked rumours of an engagement after she debuted a new ring on that finger in a selfie posted to Instagram. When a fan inquired about the pair’s relationship status, Allen referenced the famous Fight Club line by replying, “The first rule of engagement club….” FYI, you don’t talk about engagement club. The 34-year-old British singer, whose brother is Game of Thrones actor Alfie Allen, was previously married to decorator Sam Cooper from 2011 until 2018. The exes share two daughters. Harbour’s nuptials to Allen mark the first marriage for the 44-year-old actor.Allen and Harbour are the latest celebrity couple to spend months in quarantine together and decide they still want to get married, which should probably be a requirement for any couple. Niecy Nash and Jessica Betts, Raven-Symoné and Miranda Pearman-Maday, Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, and Sean Penn and Leila George all said ‘I do’ in 2020.[video_embed id='2021405']BEFORE YOU GO: Woman films creepy doll moving on its own[/video_embed]
