Lil Nas X gets help from Michael J. Fox to tease his new single ‘Holiday’

The holidays are coming and Lil Nas X is preparing for the festive season by readying his latest earworm. The rapper just released a teaser for his new single “Holiday” and enlisted the help of one of the most famous fictional time travelers. Marty McFly is back and he’s traded his Nike Bruin sneakers for cowboy boots.Lil Nas X’s teaser for “Holiday,” which is set to debut in full on November 13, features the Grammy winner getting back on the horse (literally) and taking the old town road into an old western town. Lil Nas X sees jolly old Saint Nick feeling a little too jolly after one too many glasses of ‘milk.’ Father Christmas is unceremoniously thrown out of a bar by someone who is definitely ending up on the naughty list this year. Lil Nas X retrieves Mr. Claus’ red hat and watches as the label magically changes to reveal that Lil Nas X is the new Santa Claus. The camera then reveals that one of the town's inhabitants is Michael J. Fox, who reprised his role as the time-traveling teen Marty McFly from Back to the Future. It appears as though McFly never escaped the Western town from the third film in the franchise. “Whatever you do Nas, don't go to 2020,” says McFly. Or Clint Eastwood.
“Holiday” marks Lil Nas X’s first new single since dropping his Cardi B collaboration “Rodeo” in 2019. The Georgia native, real name Montero Lamar Hill, achieved massive success with his breakthrough single “Old Town Road” in 2018. Featuring country singer Billy Ray Cyrus, the song broke Billboard chart records and won two Grammys, including Best Pop Duo/Group Performance and Best Music Video.Following the success of “Old Town Road,” Lil Nas X has been busy working on new music and modeling for major fashion houses. In June, Lil Nas X posed for Gucci in support of their new eco-friendly line. In September, Christian Cowan revealed a new line featuring Lil Nas X and confirmed the musician was collaborating on future pieces.In July, Lil Nas X confirmed that his highly anticipated debut album is almost finished. In September, the musician revealed a handful of song titles from his upcoming debut, including "Call Me By Your Name", "One of Me", "Titanic", and "Don't Want It.” According to Rihanna, the new songs are banging. Not only is Lil Nas X giving fans a festive song in time for the holidays, he’s also set to release his first children’s book. In September, Lil Nas X announced he was releasing C is for Country, which will follow a horse named Panini as he explores the world around him and helps children learn the alphabet.
