Lamar Odom and Sabrina Parr call it quits one year after engagement

Lamar Odom and fiancée Sabrina Parr have ended their relationship one year after announcing their engagement. Parr shared the news on Instagram Wednesday night and let her followers know that she is "no longer engaged to Lamar."The personal trainer said that it has been a difficult decision for her to make but she believes it's "the best for myself and my children." Parr said that Odom has "some things that he alone has to work through," adding that she still loves him "dearly" but she's "no longer able to be by his side while he seeks the help he so desperately needs."Parr said that she wishes the former NBA player "all the best" and asked her followers to "pray for everyone involved." Odom, who was previously married to Khloé Kardashian from 2009 to 2016, has not addressed the breakup publicly.Odom's last post about Parr was in support of her "Natural Body Guide" e-book just last month. He referred to Parr as his "baby doll" and said she was "naturally stunning."

Odom has publicly struggled with addiction and infidelity in the past. Kardashian filed for divorce from Odom in 2013, but the Keeping up with the Kardashians star withdrew the filing after Odom was found unconscious at a Nevada brothel in 2015.Once Odom was in recovery, Kardashian refiled for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences, in May 2016 and their separation was finalized in December of the same year (and became a storyline for the hit reality series).While they were together, Odom and Kardashian started a company called Khlomar, their fan-given couple name, which was dissolved after the divorce was finalized. They also had a KUWTK spin-off titled Khloé & Lamar, but that only lasted for two short seasons.In 2019, Odom released his memoir Darkness to Light where he reflected on his time with Kardashian and his struggles with addiction. He said that he eventually began having affairs and wrote that he couldn’t handle the “lethal cocktail of the spotlight, addiction, a diminishing career and infidelity.”Parr and Odom had set a wedding date for November 21, 2021, and used the hashtag #TheOdomsLastDance but it unfortunately appears their last dance was this November.
