Kylie Jenner was a total pro at this social distancing thing long before it was officially encouraged to help stop the spread of COVID-19. Why? Because as a celebrity who was desperately trying to hide her pregnancy in 2017, Jenner basically became a walking Ted Talk for how to cope with staying indoors and avoiding people on the daily.Jenner hopped on social media to share as much this week, pointing out in an Instagram Story that having to hide her pregnancy with Stormi for months kept her indoors and away from crowds. “When I was pregnant, by the way, the reason I [was able to keep] it a secret is because I didn’t leave the house. I literally didn’t leave the house. Towards the end of my pregnancy, helicopters would fly over my house every day, so I was scared to even go outside,” she said in what has become a daily update of her isolation status.“But it was my choice to do that, so I never let myself get bored—I watched movies, I read books, I would do full spa days and take long baths, do masks, take care of my skin, take care of my hair… I did so many puzzles when I was pregnant. Puzzles? Underrated.”[video_embed id='1914680']RELATED: Kylie Jenner says she has cute feet[/video_embed]The social distancing endorsement was a welcome one from American Surgeon General Jerome Adams, who has been pretty vocal about the need for the younger generation to take COVID-19 seriously and to social distance to help flatten the curve. In fact, he’s reached out to Jenner personally in hopes that her messages will reach and influence her 166 million or so followers. “Hey guys. Happy self-quarantine!” Jenner said on March 19. “I know I’ve already been doing my daily reminders about how important it is right now to practice social distancing and self-quarantine. I’m going on my ninth day. The coronavirus is a real thing. I listened to the Surgeon General this morning and even though I’ve already been doing my daily reminders, he definitely encouraged me to come on here and talk to you guys so you can see me and hear me.”To further prove that the makeup guru is practicing what she preaches, she also shared some ideas on how to pass the time if sitting on the couch and chilling isn’t your idea of a good time for three weeks-plus. Jenner revealed she’s also been reading, cooking, spending time with two-year-old Stormi (no word on whether plans for a third Stormiworld are underway), and catching up on Westworld.“Nobody is immune to this. Millennials are not immune to this,” Jenner added. “New evidence actually shows that a large percentage in the hospital right now are young adults. I love you guys. We’re going to get through this together. We just have to listen to each other, respect each other, self-quarantine… Being at home is fun. We can have fun at home, guys. Tweet me what you’ve been doing. We can do this together.”[video_embed id='1916454']BEFORE YOU GO: Yes, there’s a right way you should be washing your hands [/video_embed]
