Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard continue to prove they are #relationshipgoals during this coronavirus pandemic, first by making a sizeable $150K donation to No Kid Hungry (topped up by their kids’
adorable piggy bank contribution), and now the power couple is helping out those close to home by waiving their tenants’ April rent. You see, aside from starring in blockbuster films (could you call
Frozen anything less?) and working on multiple TV shows, the couple also owns several residential buildings in Los Angeles. Reps
confirmed to USA Today that Bell and Shepard aren’t charging any rent to those tenants next month as more and more Americans worry about their job security during the coronavirus pandemic and California residents remain under a state-wide “stay at home” order.
According to TMZ the residents learned about the good news following an email from Shepard’s sister, who manages the complexes.[video_embed id='1838092']RELATED: The sparks didn’t fly when Kristen Bell met Dax Shepard[/video_embed]It’s a sizeable income loss for the couple,
who paid $800,000 for the Mid-City area duplex in 2016 and charge up to $2,400 a month for the units. It’s unclear how the tenants were actually affected by the current status quo of things, or whether they’d need such financial aid right now. Still, it’s a move many tenants around the world are hoping their own landlords will make in the coming months.Meanwhile, Shepard continues to be quarantined from his family following his travels. He’s been holed up in their friend's empty apartment since March 16 in self-isolation, something Bell revealed on Instagram with an accompanying video of her and the kids dancing around for him below, outside.“@daxshepard Got back from travelling on Monday. To be cautious, I asked him to stay at a friend's empty apartment for a bit to make sure he had no symptoms,”
she wrote. “Today we were missing him so much, we did the only logical thing we knew how to do. Danced outside his window to a @bensplatt and @dearevanhansen serenade.”Shepard and Bell are just some of the celebrities donating money and trying to do all-around good things during the pandemic. Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively
donated a million bucks to food banks, Arnold Schwarzenegger also
put a mill towards medical supply relief, Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos donated $1 million towards aid, and Justin Timberlake, Taylor Swift, Jimmy Fallon, Lady Gaga, Amy Adams and Jennifer Garner have all helped out food banks and other charities during this strange and somewhat scary time. Thankfully, it’s heartwarming stories like these that keep people going.[video_embed id='-1']BEFORE YOU GO: Working from home is tough with a cat this feisty[/video_embed]
