Kim Kardashian is continuing to offer her support to those who have been protesting the murder of George Floyd at the hands of Minneapolis police and the ongoing systemic racism that has plagued the US since before its inception. After posting messages of unity over the weekend, Kardashian is now in search of one particular protester who suffered serious injuries after being hit with rubber bullets by police.Yesterday, graphic images of a woman with a swollen black eye and gaping wound on her forehead went viral. Kardashian took notice and asked her millions of followers for help identifying the woman, which many Twitter accounts labeled as a peaceful protester.“This is heartbreaking and so disturbing,” tweeted Kardashian, sharing the photo (warning: the image is graphic and may be triggering). “Does anyone know how I can get in contact with her? I would love to help her with her medical care if she needs it.”Twitter went to work and identified the woman as Shannyn, a protester who was marching in Louisville, Kentucky when she was fired on by police with rubber bullets. Shannyn reportedly sustained the injuries on Saturday and after the validity of the images was questioned online, the American protester shared a harrowing video taken seconds after she was shot by police (again, the video may be triggering to some viewers).Over the weekend, Kardashian shared an emotional message in support of protesters and the Black Lives Matter movement. “For years, with every horrific murder of an innocent black man, woman, or child, I have always tried to find the right words to express my condolences and outrage,” wrote Kardashian. “Even though I will never know the pain and suffering they have endured, or what it feels like to try to survive in a world plagued by systemic racism, I know I can use my own voice to help amplify those voices that have been muffled for too long.”

Meanwhile, Kardashian's husband Kanye West, the man who once said on live TV that George Bush didn’t care about black people and now wears a MAGA hat and supports Donald Trump, has been silent on social media since the protests began. Many celebrities have encountered rubber bullets while standing alongside protesters. Singer Halsey tweeted about the scene at the Los Angeles protests where she was forced to step in as a pseudo-medic because of the overwhelming number of injuries. How to Get Away with Murder costars Kendrick Sampson and Matt McGorry were also at the LA protests and were both hit with rubber bullets. McGory was shot in the stomach while Sampson was fired on several times and documented his many bloody injuries on Instagram.[video_embed id='1969019']RELATED: Michael B. Although they are categorized as means of nonfatal force, graphic photos and recounts by protesters of their injuries prove that the damage from rubber bullets can be extreme.Journalist Linda Tirado was photographing protests in Minneapolis when she was shot with a rubber bullet in the face, causing permanent loss of vision in her left eye. In Indiana, 21-year-old college student Balin Blake was following police orders to retreat when he was hit in the eye by a tear gas canister. Blake was rushed to hospital but lost his eye as a result of the injury. In Austin, Texas, 16-year-old Brad Levi Ayala was shot in the head by a bean bag, causing a traumatic brain injury and forcing Ayala to be rushed into surgery. Video shows that Ayala was standing still and far away from police at the time he sustained his injury (his family has asked that it not be shared further).[video_embed id='1968993']BEFORE YOU GO: Don Lemon calls out celebrities for "doing nothing" [/video_embed]
