Katie Holmes, Lily Allen and others prove coat season is official here

This past weekend the clocks fell back an hour, leaving most of us in North America in the dark as of 5pm. Fall is upon us, folks. And regardless of how many years you’ve lived through daylight savings, it’s never easy to get used to. I’ll be honest, there are multiple times this past week I’ve found myself under the covers in bed, serums and creams on, teeth brushed and retainer in, only to check my phone to see it’s barely 8:30pm.Still, there are a few things that make these early evenings easier to tolerate. For me, it’s a mix of chunky sweaters, platform boots, tapered candles, wool blankets, and oversized outerwear.
