Kate Hudson and Gwyneth Paltrow reveal their worst onscreen kisses

When you’re an actor, everyone wants you to kiss and tell. Yet the pros rarely do… unless they’re gossiping with each other. Or at least Kate Hudson and Gwyneth Paltrow proved that’s how they roll on the latest episode of Paltrow’s The Goop Podcast when they both dished about their worst onscreen kisses.The pair spilled tea when the conversation turned to kissing, and both leading ladies revealed that it was their most iconic co-stars who wound up being their least-favourite smooches. “Honestly, I feel like I kind of haven’t had the best kissers. I feel like I should have had better ones.” Hudson said when asked who her best kiss was. When Paltrow pressed her on the Matthew McConaughey of it all, Hudson just went for it.“Every time I kiss McConaughey, I mean, it’s like there’s just something happening and there’s like snot or wind,” she revealed of her How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days and Fool’s Gold co-star. “Like when we were kissing, like, in the end of Fool’s Gold, we’re in the ocean, we had the plane crash, he just had snot all over his face.” Well all right, all right, all right. Someone pass the man a tissue, already.Whether she felt like she needed to commiserate or she was just dying to put it out there, Paltrow then chimed in with her own worst onscreen kiss experience: Tony Stark Robert Downey Jr. “With Robert, like, when I kissed him, I was like, ‘You’ve got to be kidding me,” Paltrow said. “This is literally like kissing my brother.’”The good news—for the actors at least—is that not everyone who has locked lips for a role opposite Hudson was terrible. After thinking on it for a while, the 41-year-old recalled a cut scene from Almost Famous that was memorable for her. “You know who was a good kisser, but you didn't see it, cause they cut it out? Was Billy [Crudup]," Hudson added. "Billy was good. That was good… We had a kissing scene in the ice room, which then wasn’t in the movie.”“He looked like he would be a good kisser,” Paltrow added, without naming her own best onscreen kiss. Maybe she’s waiting for the Crudup experience herself? Considering she and husband Brad Falchuk just celebrated their two-year wedding anniversary, probably not.One thing is for sure though, and that’s that any men these leading ladies smooch in the near figure might want to up their game.
