Justin Timberlake was photographed holding hands with someone who isn't Jessica Biel

There was a photographer in New Orleans last week who just happened upon a bar in the city where Justin Timberlake was hanging out. The best they probably hoped for was getting a couple of shots of a wobbly JT. But we bet they weren't expecting to capture this.Timberlake was out on the balcony of The Absinthe House with Alisha Wainwright and the Palmer co-stars were chatting and drinking and smiling and laughing together. Sure, no biggie, right? But then things took a turn from friendly to FRIENDLY. In the pics published by The Sun, the two were looking cozy, with Wainwright holding the ringless hand of Jessica Biel's husband in one snap. In another shot, she appeared to be resting her hand on Timberlake's knee. In fact, one onlooker told the paper, "At one stage he grabbed her hand and rested it on his knee. She then gently started stroking his leg. Then he clutched her hand with both of his and was playing with her hands."

There's also video that shows the "SexyBack" singer putting his arm around the actress' waist. Timberlake reportedly appeared heavily intoxicated, was unsteady and needed to lean on a wall for support. Now, it should be noted that Wainwright and Timberlake weren't alone at the bar and were actually part of a small group out drinking.

Team Timberlake was immediately on damage control, telling People, "It's a balcony with a group of people and it was definitely nothing happening. He's down there shooting [his film] Palmer, they're starring in the movie together and they're cool and everybody was just hanging out."The source continued: "The video may look a way, but literally it was nothing. It was some friends, members of the team, crew and people like that. They all know each other and were hanging. Like come on, they're on an open balcony in New Orleans and he's famous. It was nothing."Wainwright's rep chimed in with a similar message. "There is no validity to this speculation. They are currently working on a project together. Members of the cast and crew were all together." So, technically, not denials but, "Yes, you saw what you saw but it was nothing." Still, we can't stop the feelings, ya know?Timberlake and Biel often post loving messages about the other on Instagram but their relationship wasn't all sunshine and rainbows. They began dating in 2007 but hit a rocky patch in February 2011 and the two broke up. By July, however, they were back together, engaged that December and married in Italy in October 2012. They have one son, four-year-old Silas.

Timberlake and Wainwright, who may be best known for her roles on Raising Dion and Shadowhunters, began filming their football drama this month.Neither Timberlake nor Biel have addressed the pics so, for now, we'll just leave you with the internet's thoughts on the matter.
