Rescue dog Kuma, a sad-eyed grey pitbull rescued by actor Justin Theroux in 2018 (right after Hurricane Harvey hit the pooch’s hometown in Texas), is having the best lockdown of all time. At least when it comes to dinners. The pup and his owner have taken self-isolation dining to a new level. Think: cloth napkins and candlelight and Kuma sitting at her own designated place at a well-stocked table. Is Theroux spoiling his dog? Definitely, and we approve. The actor has been quarantining with Kuma for the past few weeks and cooking up a storm for both himself and the dog. Theroux has spared no expense, serving menu items such as kale sauteed with garlic, pommes duchesse, fresh baked zucchini bread, and Kuma’s favourite lasagna. “Lasagna is dog meth,” wrote the actor on a Instagram stories post. During a recent weekend dinner Theroux served spaghetti and meatballs, Lady and the Tramp-style. Kuma donned her finest formalwear. We’re guessing it didn’t stay so pristine.

In another Instagram story, the actor wrote, “@bluehillfarm is donating incredible meals to EMS and hospital workers on the front lines. Please support them. Like Kuma has.”Kuma’s Blue Hill Farm meal consisted of fresh bread, salted butter, and vegetable soup. Her meals with Theroux seem like just desserts after a tough early life.
