Justin Bieber has launched a defamation lawsuit after being accused of sexual assault by two Twitter accounts. Earlier this month, Bieber was accused of raping two women who posted detailed stories about their encounters with the popstar. Bieber responded with a series of tweets aimed at disproving the claims, and is now suing for $20 million in damages.TMZ has obtained a copy of Bieber’s defamation suit against the social media accounts, which Bieber and his team believe are possibly run by the same person. The tweets detailing the assaults were sent by two women named Kadi and Danielle and were posted only hours apart. People is also sharing statements from the suit, which reports that Kadi "knew and had the details of the Danielle Tweet/post prior to its release, and had her accusation ready to also release in conjunction."The first allegation was shared by a woman named Danielle, who tweeted that Bieber assaulted her at the Four Seasons in Austin, Texas in 2014. Following the accusations, Bieber posted a series of tweets with the intention of accounting for his whereabouts during the date in question. According to Bieber and the emails and receipts he supplied, the popstar stayed at the Westin Hotel and later at an AirBnB on March 9 and 10. Bieber also shared a link to a story posted in Us Weekly that said Bieber was seen with then-girlfriend Selena Gomez on the night in question."Danielle claimed she was sexually assaulted at the Four Seasons Hotel on March 9, 2014, however, Bieber did not stay at that hotel in March 2014 and there are multiple witnesses and documentary evidence to dispute Danielle's malicious lie," reads the complaint, adding that Danielle’s claims were "likewise factually impossible, are contradicted by her own prior written statements, are supported only by falsified or faked texts."According to the new suit, Bieber and his legal team are alleging that Danielle used public information to craft a story. Bieber referenced one of these public items in his own series of tweets, which included a woman tweeting that she saw the popstar at the restaurant in the Four Seasons’ hotel. "Danielle fabricated her sexual encounter with Bieber at the Four Seasons Hotel because it was publicly reported that Bieber had dinner at the Four Seasons Restaurant on March 10, 2014 and presumed that Bieber was at the hotel because of the public reports of him dining at the restaurant,” says the suit. The second assault allegation was by a woman named Kadi who said that Bieber assaulted her at the Langham Hotel in New York City in May 2015 after the Met Gala. Although Bieber didn’t attend the annual fashion event, he did go to an afterparty that included several witnesses. In her description of the assault, Kadi alleged she and Bieber were in his hotel room at 2:30 a.m., which according to the suit "was the same time Bieber was actually at the Met Gala after-party with dozens of witnesses.”Bieber and his legal team say that Kadi is a superfan of the Canadian musician who has repeatedly tweeted about the singer. These tweets include Kadi’s own admission that she has never met Justin. The suit highlights Kadi’s previous tweets, including "I swear if we don't meet I'll find you and f— you @justinbieber #JustinForMMVA.”On June 21, Bieber tweeted “I don’t normally address things as I have dealt with random accusations my entire career but after talking with my wife and team I have decided to speak up on an issue tonight. Rumors are rumors but sexual abuse is something I don’t take lightly. I wanted to speak out right away but out of respect to so many victims who deal with these issues daily I wanted to make sure I gathered the facts before I made any statement.”[video_embed id='1982317']RELATED: Justin Bieber speaks out following sexual assault allegations[/video_embed]
