Jonathan Scott calls GF Zooey Deschanel ‘the perfect person’ to be quarantined with

Being in isolation during the ongoing global pandemic is a struggle for everyone, but for new couple Zooey Deschanel and Jonathan Scott, time together has made their relationship even stronger. Well, it’s made things stronger for Scott since it seems like Deschanel is doing a lot of the heavy lifting. One half of the Property Brothers spoke to People about what it's been like to practice physical distancing with his GF, whom he describes in loving terms and from the sounds of things, he’s right.“Let me tell you, I’ve been quarantined with the perfect person,” Scott was quoted as saying. “Not only is Zooey an amazing cook, but she’s a musician, so our house is constantly filled with music.” ICYMI, Deschanel has released six albums as the musical duo She&Him with M. Ward and has been uploading new covers and performances on Instagram. On March 27, Deschanel covered Randy Newman’s “Dayton, Ohio.” Scott jumped into the comments section of the post, writing “Oh you know I love when you sing this song. We could all use a little more nice right about now.” He probably could have just leaned over the couch and told her that, but we appreciate the public display of support.

But I’m glad that I’m with somebody that I love, and somebody who’s so talented.”The couple have been staying busy during their time at home. In March, they released a video urging their followers to stay home if possible and practice good hygiene in order to stop the spread of COVID-19. In addition to Deschanel’s musical performances, the pair have also been passing the time by engaged in competitive games of Scrabble and finishing massive puzzle projects. Deschanel has also been sharing her seven favourite ‘chill records,’ giving her followers recommendations of albums to listen to while having "contemplative quarantine dinners."
