First comes baby, then comes marriage. Actors Jenna Dewan and Steve Kazee announced their engagement this week, with the parents-to-be sharing the happy news on their social media accounts. Dewan and Kazee posted matching photos on their Instagram pages and personalized their announcements with touching messages. “A lifetime to love and grow with you...you have my heart,” wrote Dewan, while Kazee captioned his pic, “When you wake in the morning I will kiss your face with a smile no one has ever seen. When you wake in the morning I will kiss your eyes and say it’s you I have loved all these years.”
The couple went public with their relationship in October 2018, shortly after Dewan split from actor Channing Tatum. Since separating, Tatum has moved on with English pop singer Jessie J, while Dewan began dating Kazee. In September 2019, Dewan and Kazee announced they were expecting their first child together.
Dewan and Kazee have been sharing her pregnancy with followers on social media and have yet to reveal the sex of the baby, but according to Kelly Clarkson, Dewan is having a boy. The actress appeared on Clarkson’s daytime talk show and revealed that everything with her second pregnancy seemed to be happening faster. “This time around, also really great, but everything is happening faster. I’m swelling faster, I have heartburn faster. I was way more nauseous this time around. It’s a little different,” said Dewan. “Maybe it’s because the opposite sex is happening,” added Clarkson, who is quickly amassing every job in Hollywood, including gender predictor.
