Years ago, you signed this image for my dad who was going through a stem cell transplant to treat his NH Lymphoma...it meant the world to him. I would also like to extend a “get well, man” to you! My dad has been cancer free for 9 years! You’ve got this! pic.twitter.com/7sD04ZQNQu

Several followers also offered their support by sharing their own experiences with lymphoma, encouraging Bridges to continue leaning on his friends and family and keep a positive attitude as he navigates his way through treatment. In this email was a letter from Mr. Bridges, who was incredibly kind and gracious, providing encouragement and advice. I am still blown away that he took the time to respond to a 17 y/o kid like me. But that's just the type of person Jeff Bridges is. Best wishes, Mr. Bridges.

Wishing you the best, Jeff. My Mom has it. She's had it now three times over 15 years. It comes back. However, she does her short course of chemo, and then maintenance. Stand tall, stand strong. You will get through this. Praying and pulling for you, Dude.

I have had a recurring Hodgkin Lymphoma since 1976. Serious - yes. Treatable - very. I count myself blessed for 44 years+ of living post-diagnosis. Stay grounded; listen to docs, rest whenever needed. Thinking of you, Jeff! ??
