Jeff Bridges reveals he’s been diagnosed with lymphoma

Jeff Bridges has been diagnosed with lymphoma. The beloved actor tweeted his diagnosis on October 19 and told fans that he will be starting treatment shortly. Bridges also used his message to encourage Americans to vote in the upcoming election. His dudeness, duder, or el dudorino continues to be the coolest.Referencing his famous Big Lebowski character, Bridges tweeted “As the Dude would say.. New S**T has come to light. I have been diagnosed with Lymphoma. Although it is a serious disease, I feel fortunate that I have a great team of doctors and the prognosis is good.” Promising to keep his followers updated on his condition and thanking his friends and family for their support, Bridges ended his message with a call to action for the upcoming presidential election. “And, while I have you, please remember to go vote. Because we are all in this together.” Bridges’ tweets have been met with well-wishes from his famous friends and fans, including Olivia Wilde, Rosie O’Donnell, George Takei and Rosario Dawson. Known in the entertainment industry for his kindness and generosity towards his fellow cast and crew, many fans began sharing their favorite Jeff Bridges story on Twitter.
