After the death of his daughter, original Justice League director Zack Snyder stepped away from the project and was replaced by Whedon. Several months and millions of dollars of re-shoots later, Justice League was released as a much different film than Snyder’s vision. On July 1, Fisher tweeted a video of himself from Comic Con in 2017, where he defended Snyder’s decision to choose Whedon to take over. “I’d like to take a moment to forcefully retract every bit of this statement,” wrote Fisher.Fisher expanded in a second tweet, writing “Joss Wheadon’s on-set treatment of the cast and crew of Justice League was gross, abusive, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable.” He referenced former CCO of DC Entertainment Geoff Johns and Warner Bros. co-president of Production Jon Berg, saying both men (who acted as producers on Justice League) enabled Whedon and his inappropriate behaviour. “Accountability > Entertainment,” added Fisher.[video_embed id='1987765']RELATED: 'Justice League' star Ray Fisher accuses Joss Whedon of ''abusive'' on set behavior[/video_embed]Only one day after Fisher’s tweets, Warner Bros. announced that Momoa, who starred as Aquaman alongside Fisher, would play Frosty The Snowman in an upcoming live-action feature. Berg, who is also a producer on the Frosty film, gave a statement to Deadline, saying “From his role as a fearsome count in a land of ice and fire to the oceanic success we all had with Aquaman, it felt only right to realize Jason this time out of snow.” According to Momoa’s latest Instagram post, this announcement was used as a distraction from Fisher's very legitimate claims.Fisher responded to Momoa’s latest sign of support, tweeting “To think they believed my brother would sellout the cast/crew of JL for a corncob pipe and a button nose...”
Fisher also criticized the investigation Warner Bros. launched in August following his allegations of abuse on set by Whedon. According to Fisher, the investigation has “cherry picked interviewees that best suit Warner Bros. Pictures false narrative and scapegoating efforts.”If you still think Jason playing Frosty was EVER a real thing—please wake up!

Momoa remains the only major cast member of Justice League to publicly back Fisher’s claims of abuses suffered on set. Gal Gadot, Ben Affleck, and Ezra Miller all have movies in the works with Warner Bros. that continue their roles as Wonder Woman, Batman, and The Flash. The actors have been vocal about their support for the release of Snyder’s cut of Justice League, which will be released on HBO Max in 2021.[video_embed id='2035003']Before you go: The 'Fresh Prince of Bel-Air' mansion is on Airbnb[/video_embed]Others (including an implicated individual that called me to apologize) have already been interviewed.
