What's better than receiving an action figure of your favourite superhero? Getting to meet the King of the Seas over FaceTime. That's what happened to 7-year-old Aquaman superfan Danny Sheehan this week after a video went viral of his excitement after unwrapping a toy.Danny has been battling cancer since January 2017, when he was diagnosed with pineoblastoma, which is a rare, aggressive type of cancer that begins in the cells of the brain's pineal gland, according to the Mayo Clinic. He was also diagnosed with Leptomeningeal disease, which Mount Sinai says, occurs when cancer cells migrate from other parts of your body to your cerebrospinal fluid.Earlier this week, Danny received a gift of a toy Aquaman during a family photoshoot and exclaimed, "Oh my gosh, my favourite one! Aquaman! I love Aquaman." The video went viral and caught the attention of Aquaman himself, a.k.a Jason Momoa. The actor FaceTimed Danny and the fan answered the call, saying, "Hi Aquaman, I'm so excited!"

"Hi, beautiful boy," Jason said. "You are so beautiful. I'm excited, and I've been hearing about you all over from all of my friends. I wanted to call you and say hi and see how you're doing." Danny told Jason that he's doing good and asked if he could tell him something "very important." Danny told Jason that he loves dolphins and the Aquaman actor asked if he has ever ridden on a dolphin."No, I never have, and I never seen one before," Danny tells Jason in the video. "You never seen one before either? We got to make that happen," Jason tells him before Danny shows him the Aquaman action figure. "You got a little whale on your shirt too. I've been riding on dolphins, and it's super fun. We should try that some time," Jason tells his fan before asking him if he'd ever swim with sharks.[video_embed id='-1']RELATED: Ambidextrous art: Drawing Jason Momoa with two hands at the same time[/video_embed]Momoa, who will next be seen as Aquaman in Zack Snyder's Justice League, posted the FaceTime on Instagram and thanked everyone who reached out to him to share the viral video of Danny opening the Aquaman gift. "I saw this video online that made me want to get in touch and FaceTime him and spend some time talking to him," he wrote, before sharing a link to Danny's Go Fund Me page. He also tagged Warner Bros. Pictures to see if they could send Danny an Aquaman Trident.Danny's mother, Natalie, said that the Aquaman figure was gifted to Danny by photographer Corey Taylor during their holiday photo session. “When Danny had that reaction to Aquaman, I think myself and my husband were just shocked because it was so guttural and pure. It was so great to have Danny’s spirit captured so succinctly. It was just a true gift,” Natalie told CBS Boston. As if we needed any more reasons to love him, Jason Momoa just proved that he's not just a DC Universe superhero. He's a superhero IRL too.[video_embed id='-1']BEFORE YOU GO: Baby preciously cuddles cat for nap time[/video_embed]
