It’s a Royal Family affair! Just confirmed on Monday, Prince William and Kate Middleton will once again stand side by side with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle at the upcoming Commonwealth Day celebration. Not since the Spice Girls welcomed back Geri Halliwell has a British reunion received so much buzz.Buckingham Palace broke with tradition on Monday by confirming the upcoming reunion to Us Weekly, acknowledging that the royal brothers and sisters-in-law would be together during the March 8th event. One of the most significant annual events for the monarchy, the upcoming Commonwealth Day celebration will mark both the first time the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have appeared together at a royal event since announcing their departure from the family and their last royal event before officially stepping down from their roles as full-time members of the Royal Family on March 31. And we just thought the weather in March was dramatic.[video_embed id='-1']RELATED: Meghan Markle shares her secret to being happy[/video_embed]The Palace told Us Weekly in a statement that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be in attendance for the Service at Westminster Abbey in London, which will also include a family reunion with Prince Charles, his wife Duchess Camilla, and of course, Queen Elizabeth. Prepare for a lot of stiff upper lips. The event will include musical performances by Craig David and Alexandra Burke, as well as a speech by Commonwealth heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua. Representatives from the Commonwealth’s 54 countries will be in attendance, but not even a front row that includes Beyoncé, Adele, and Kanye West could pull eyeballs away from curious spectators who want to see just how warmly (or not) the rest of the royals will react to seeing Harry and Meghan.Still His-Royal-Highness Harry has been in the UK for a week, speaking at an event about eco-tourism in Scotland at the end of February. The sixth in line to the British throne asked the crowd to address him as just Harry, showing that the Queen’s grandson is ready to drop his HRH title, which he and Meghan will no longer be allowed to use following their official exit on March 31.Meanwhile, Meghan has been in the couple’s temporary home country of Canada where the family is renting a house in Vancouver. Meghan is expected to leave baby Archie in Canada when she flies to the UK for the Commonwealth Day celebration. According to The Times, the couple’s decision to once again leave their nine-month-old son in Canada while traveling to the UK is difficult for their family. "The news will be disappointing for the queen and the Royal Family, who are understood to be 'very sad' that they have seen so little of Archie since his birth,” a source close to the monarchy told The Times, adding that the family was also upset to not see Archie at Christmas or when the couple returned to the UK in January.Harry and Meghan’s decision to leave Archie in Canada is understandable. Between flu and cold season and the added germs that come with traveling on a plane, Archie remaining in Canada seems like a safer option.[video_embed id='-1']BEFORE YOU GO: Golden Retriever puppy is overly-excited to see her owner[/video_embed]
