Imagine playing with your young child, in your backyard, maybe by the pool if you're so lucky, and then suddenly a loud buzzing drone is a mere 20 feet above your head, taking intrusive pictures, and generally rattling everyone's nerves? That’s what Prince Harry and Meghan Markle seemingly have had to deal with as they stay in Tyler Perry’s mansion in the Hollywood Hills with their young son, Archie.
The Daily Beast is reporting that Harry and Meghan have made several calls to the police about the intrusive drones, and a friend of the family told the publication that the Sussexes find the intrusions “unimaginable.” Drone-related incidents allegedly occurred at their residence on May 9th, 19th, 20th, 21st, and 25th and all were reported to the LAPD’s non-emergency line. In the U.S.,
it is illegal to fly a drone beyond your line of sight and directly over people unless you become a registered drone pilot, as regulated by the Federal Aviation Administration. The friend told
The Daily Beast, “They see these drones coming in at them, and they guess that they are being operated by photographers, but they can’t just assume that. Meghan received racist death threats at the time of her wedding, so the terror threat is very real for them.”[video_embed id='1918013']RELATED: Harry and Meghan complete public duty at Commonwealth Day service[/video_embed]“It’s like people forget they are real people.
