Prince Harry and Meghan Markle only have a few weeks until their March 31 end date as working members of the royal family, but until then the Duke and Duchess of Sussex continue to both work and work it. The pair are back in the U.K. for Commonwealth Day on March 9 and have stayed busy appearing at several events for charities and causes close to their hearts. We applaud the couple’s commitment to important and meaningful endeavours…but that doesn’t mean we can’t also drool over their fashion. On Thursday night, Harry and Meghan made their first appearance together in the U.K. since leaving in January to relocate to Vancouver Island. The couple attended the 2020 Endeavour Fund Awards and were front row for a romantic proposal by one of the award recipients. Meghan looked chic as always in a Victoria Beckham dress that can best be described as a joyful blue that was fitting for the celebratory ceremony.[video_embed id='1916475']RELATED: Harry and Meghan got a romantic surprise at a Royal event[/video_embed]The couple split their time between two events over the next day. Prince Harry joined Formula One race car driver Lewis Hamilton at the opening of The Silverstone Experience. The new exhibit celebrates the history of racing and introduces it to a new generation of car enthusiast, including the young girl pictured here with Harry and Lewis, who looks to obviously be schooling the sixth in line to the throne about car engines.

• This morning, The Duke of Sussex raced up to Silverstone, home of the British Grand Prix to open the The Silverstone Experience, a brand-new immersive museum that tells the story of the past, present and future of British motor racing. Joined by six-time Formula One World Champion Lewis Hamilton MBE, The Duke of Sussex and Lewis toured @thesilverstoneexperience, where they viewed the various components of the museum, met with volunteers, and chatted with the next generation of engineers and racing drivers. The museum brings the extensive heritage of Silverstone and British motor racing to life, celebrating the circuit and the country’s position at the heart of the global motorsport industry. It showcases the rich history of the sport, highlights amazing stories of many whom have been part of what makes Silverstone so special - which we hope, will inspire future generations to come. Meanwhile, Meghan visited the National Theatre where she learned about the Immersive Storytelling Studio, which is using virtual reality to bring stories to life and help viewers better connect and empathize with others from different races, nationalities and age groups. As viewers can see looking at the comments about the Duchess on the couple’s Instagram page, empathy, or even the slightest bit of human decency, is still severely lacking in many people’s reaction to Markle.

Yesterday, The Duchess of Sussex, Royal patron of the National Theatre, visited the Immersive Storytelling Studio in London, where emerging technology like Virtual Reality is being used to develop new forms of emotive storytelling. Recently, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex also visited Stanford University where part of their learning journey included a virtual reality presentation that allows the user to experience life through another person’s point of view. The goal of this method of virtual reality is to enable us to better connect and empathise with each other as people, regardless of race, age or nationality. The couple shared the spotlight once again on Saturday night where they turned heads in their stunning matching ensembles at the Mountbatten Festival of Music at the Royal Albert Hall. Harry appeared in full military regalia as the Captain General of the Royal Marines, marking the final time he’ll wear the uniform. As part of Meghan and Harry’s agreement to leave their roles as working members of the royal family, Harry must relinquish his title as Captain General. Harry, who served two terms in Afghanistan and served in the Army for 10 years, will retain his rank of Major, and honorary ranks of Lieutenant Commander, and Squadron Leader.Appearing alongside her husband at the event, which raises funds for the Royal Marines Charity, Meghan reinvented the word ‘red’ with her stunning Kalika cape dress from London fashion label Safiyaa. Accessorized with a Manolo Blahnik clutch and floral beaded drop earrings from Irish designer Simone Rocha, Markle made her boldest fashion statement yet. It’s only March, but we’re calling it – this is the look to beat in 2020. She may be a Duchess, but this is a yas kween moment.
Markle had a more relaxed look on Sunday for International Women’s Day when she surprised students at the Robert Clark school in Dagenham. Markle chose the small town because of its historical significance. In 1968, female sewing machinists working at the Ford Motor Company factory in Dagenham staged a strike when they were deemed less skilled than men. Two years later, Parliament in the U.K. passed the Equal Pay Act to protect female workers. Markle spent the day meeting with students at the local school and wore all-female designers for her visit, including a ME+EM bouclé blazer, Jennifer Chamandi Boghossian shoes, and a Rejina Pyo purse.
Sunday also included a reunion with between Harry, Meghan and Queen Elizabeth. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were photographed driving to the Royal Chapel of All Saints for a Sunday service and the Queen was also spotted arriving at the chapel located in Windsor Great Park. Prince Harry reportedly met with his grandmother last week after arriving in the U.K. ahead of his wife to appear at eco-tourism events and sing with Jon Bon Jovi. The reunions are expected to continue Monday when Harry and Meghan will appear at the Commonwealth Day celebrations along with the Queen, as well as Prince Charles, the Duchess of Cornwall, Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge.[video_embed id='1914443']RELATED: Prince Harry and the Queen had a heart-to-heart[/video_embed]
