Greta Thunberg hit Donald Trump with an epic burn on Twitter

It’s got to sting when you’re a world leader who gets served a generous helping of ‘tude from a Swedish teen, so we’re imagining that Donald Trump is feeling pretty small right now after 17-year-old Greta Thunberg suggested he “chill.” The rest of us, however, are loving the irony of seeing a teenage climate activist wait a full year to deliver a comeback based on a weak insult the President of the United States tweeted at a CHILD back in late 2019.Thunberg was honoured with the title of TIME’s Person of The Year last December — a title Trump was given (for some incomprehensible reason) back in 2016. When Irish actor Roma Downey tweeted her congratulations to Thunberg, Trump weighed in, retweeting Downey and commenting “So ridiculous. Greta must work on her Anger Management problem, then go to a good old fashioned movie with a friend! Chill Greta, Chill!"Some might say that what constitutes “ridiculous” would be a grown man and the leader of a country using Twitter to insult a kid. Others might say it would be that same grown man using Twitter to take a stance against the democratic process currently underway in his own country simply because he is on the verge of losing an election and is himself a sore loser. That seems to be Thunberg’s opinion. The young activist sent out her own social media missive, mocking both Trump and his efforts to undermine the electoral process in the United States by using his own words from a year ago against him.
