Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik have announced the birth of their daughter, who is guaranteed to be one of the most genetically blessed babies in the history of time. The supermodel and pop singer both shared sweet photos of their newborn on Instagram, revealing the baby’s tiny hand and posting loving messages for their new arrival. It’s important for new parents to make the sweet dedications in the early days while they are still running on adrenaline and aren’t too sleep deprived to form a sentence. Congratulations!Malik was the first to announce that the couple’s daughter had arrived safely. Sharing a picture of his new daughter clutching his finger, Malik wrote “Our baby girl is here, healthy and beautiful. To try put into words how I am feeling right now would be an impossible task. The love I feel for this tiny human is beyond my understanding. Grateful to know her, proud to call her mine, and thankful for the life we will have together.”
Hadid followed only moments later with her own picture of her daughter holding Malik’s thumb. No one ever takes pictures of mom! Jk, jk, but seriously, Gigi, get those pictures. Hadid confirmed that their daughter was born this past weekend but did not provide an exact birth date. Neither parent has announced the name of their little one, which will surely skyrocket to the top of every baby name list for 2021. “Our girl joined us earth-side this weekend and she’s already changed our world,” wrote Hadid. “So in love.”

The new parents have been inundated with well wishes on their social media pages, including a sweet post from Hadid’s father, Mohamed Hadid. Using the Arabic word for grandfather, Hadid wrote “Congrats, Jido’s heart belongs to you baby girl.”Hadid received messages from several of her famous friends, including Dua Lipa, Hailey Bieber, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Chloe x Halle, Tan France, Yara Shahidi, Ashley Tisdale, Olivia Culpo, Nina Dobrev and Kourtney Kardashian. Several of Hadid’s model and designer friends, including Gisele Bundchen, Martha Hunt, Shanina Shaik, Jeremy Scott and Ricardo Tisci, flocked to Hadid’s page to congratulate the couple.  The Tommy Hilfiger model also received a sweet message from the clothing company, which wrote “We’re extremely happy for you and Zayn!!! Welcome to the world babygirl.”Hadid, 25, and Malik, 27, confirmed in April that they were expecting their first child together. The news was leaked prior to the couple making an official statement, forcing the pair to announce their pregnancy earlier than they intended. Hadid appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to confirm the rumors, acknowledging that the new parents would have rather shared the news on their own terms but were focusing on what was important, i.e. keeping mom and baby happy and healthy. “Obviously, you know, we wish we could’ve announced it on our own terms, but we’re very excited and happy and grateful for everyone’s well wishes and support,” Hadid told Fallon.TIMELINE: A look back at Zayn and Gigi's journey to parenthood. At the end of August, Hadid proudly showed off her growing belly in stunning black-and-white photos from her maternity shoot. The supermodel and her team practiced physical distancing throughout the shoot, which included everyone wearing masks, gloves and face shields. The new mom glowed in the photos, which were taken at the end of July when Hadid was around seven months pregnant. These look slightly more professional than most pregnancy photos, which typically include a very tired pregnant person holding up a handmade sign that reads ‘30 weeks.’
