Emma Stone is reportedly married to Dave McCary

Some people spent quarantine doing puzzles, watching Tiger King, and baking up bread. Others spent their time making some major life decisions. Like you know, getting married. It seems as though Emma Stone and Dave McCary are among the latter group, if these new reports have any merit to them. And to be honest, they kind of seem to.According to Page Six the couple did indeed get hitched after photos of them wearing matching gold bands appeared earlier this week. A source confirmed the news to the publication, saying that they definitely said “I do,” but at time of press neither Stone nor McCary had confirmed the news themselves.Stone, who is 31, and McCary, who is 35, shared their engagement with fans in December 2019 with a photo on Instagram of Stone showing off her pearl ring. Page Six previously reported the piece is actually a Kataoka Winter Pearl Ring from NYC jewelry shop Catbird. It retails for roughly $4780 US. No word on how much McCary, a former segment director for Saturday Night Live, paid for the piece though.

The couple were originally supposed to get married in March, however like many weddings (celebrity and otherwise), they were forced to postpone when restrictions on large gatherings came into effect. It seems as though they decided to get married anyhow at some point over the past six months, which may be the good news fans need right about now as we go into the last quarter of 2020.McCary and Stone first started dating in the summer of 2017 (or at least that’s when they were first seen out and about together), and by October of that year it seemed pretty official. At the 2019 Fox Golden Globes afterparty at the Beverly Hilton the pair shared a table with Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn, and according to a report from Us Weekly at the time they seemed like a pretty solid couple with all of the PDA.If Stone wants to keep her relationship private though, no one can blame the actor. After all, people seemed pretty ravenous for updates between her and her last ex, actor Andew Garfield, whom she dated for four years before they split in 2015. Fans believe Stone may have met McCary when she hosted SNL a year later, in 2016, when he directed her in the sketch “Wells For Boys.”Whether that meet-cute is true, in addition to whether these two are actually now married, will remain a mystery for now.
