‘Stay at home’ applies to all of us, even Canada’s most famous export, Drake. The teen-TV-star-turned-rap-icon had been self-isolating after he found out that his pal, Brooklyn Nets forward Kevin Durant, tested positive for the virus. Drake and Durant had been partying together (because what else do rappers and NBA players do when the world begins to shut down?) just before Durant received his positive test results.[video_embed id='-1']RELATED: Drake in self-isolation after partying with Kevin Durant[/video_embed]The two hung out in West Hollywood at a club called Mr. Nice Guy just a little over a week before the NBA Star was diagnosed. Cameras caught them leaving together and Drake posted the photo to his Instagram account:

After hearing the news of his friend’s illness, Drake decided to get the test, too (no word on how all these famous people appear to have such an easy time accessing tests while the media continues to report on shortages). In a video call to his dad posted to Instagram Live, Drake informs his father that he had the test but that the results came back negative. Cue: the entire Six breathing a collective sigh of relief. He then goes on to describe what it’s like to have the test done, saying that the procedure is pretty “uncomfortable.”“They put that Q-tip all the way up into your thoughts and s**t,” quips Drake (TMZ has posted a recording of the video for posterity here). Drake’s dad, Dennis Graham, then updates his son about his own wellbeing, telling Drake that he recently got himself a fancy thermometer to keep an eye on his temperature. “You drink too much Hennessey to get Corona,” jokes Drake and the two burst into laughter. As for what to do while we, like Drake, are all waiting this pandemic out? “Don’t be depressed, just let this shit pass,” advises Graham. Wise words, Drake’s dad, wise words.[video_embed id='1926888']RELATED: How long can someone carry COVID-19?[/video_embed]
