Drizzy is holed up in his home after hanging with Durant just days before the Brooklyn Nets basketball star was diagnosed with COVID-19. Page Six reported that the Grammy-award winning rapper and Durant were out at the West Hollywood hot spot Nice Guy on March 11 while the Nets were in Los Angeles to play the Lakers and Clippers. Then two days ago, the Brooklyn Nets organization announced that four players, including Durant, tested positive for the coronavirus while adding that only one player has shown symptoms. Taking to Instagram a week ago, Drake posted pics of his time with Durant with the caption, “Life is a race and the grim reaper catches up…till then glasses up.”

He shared a video on his Instagram Stories that showed an empty basketball court, in his Toronto mansion, with the caption, “My life for the next however long.” In another video, Drake is seen eating potato chips while in another one he’s watching movies, including the 1997 sci-fi classic The Fifth Element. There’s no word on if he’s been tested for the coronavirus or if he is displaying any symptoms.Earlier this week, all of Drake’s OVO stores, along with a slew of other retailers, temporarily closed due to the pandemic. But it hasn’t been all bad news for the “In My Feelings” hitmaker. His new song, “Oprah’s Bank Account” which features Lil Yachty and DaBaby, is his 208th track to debut on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart. He now holds the record for most songs on the music chart surpassing the record held by the cast of Glee and celebrated by popping bottle of, what else, champagne on his Instagram Stories soon after. As for Durant, following his diagnosis he told The Athletic he was feeling well and not experiencing any symptoms. He is also urging everyone to stay safe and stay at home.Other famous faces who have tested positive for COVID-19 include Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson and actors Idris Elba and Kristofer Hivju.[video_embed id='1916454']BEFORE YOU GO: Yes, there’s a right way you should be washing your hands [/video_embed]
