The Friends reunion may be delayed but it’s definitely still happening, and after Courtney Cox’s last abysmal showing at Friends trivia it seems like she’s trying to up her game before that happens. So, like many other Central Perk fans out there, she’s loading up on the java and binge watching the series that made her famous. The 55-year-old virtually swung by The Ellen DeGeneres Show on May 6, where she revealed her version of quarantine isn’t all creepy TikTok babies and musical interludes. She’s also prepping to relive all of her favourite Friends moments on the reunion by re-watching the series ahead of time. “It’s really good,” she said on the Mother’s Day themed episode. “‘I’ve only seen the first season so far, but the Thanksgiving one where we all had the flashback [is my favourite].”[video_embed id='1926896']RELATED: Here's what you should be binge-watching while you're stuck at home[/video_embed]Even if she can’t recall everything that happened during her decade making the show, Cox reminisced about the good times and admitted, “I remember the people and specific things that happened, but my memory is not great when it comes to fun times. I remember pain I think.” She wouldn’t be talking about a jellyfish sting, would she?Anyhow, the actress then went on to reveal her favourite part about her role on the show, which also happens to be one of the most controversial gags these days: Fat Monica. “I loved playing overweight Monica because I felt so free. I could dance…like you [Ellen] and just sit up and dance and have no problem at all. Those are really good episodes,” she added. Guess dancing with a turkey on her head wasn’t quite as liberating.Cox is currently isolating with her teen daughter Coco, but she admitted that even though she’s keeping positive (not to mention busy launching the new season of her Facebook Watch series 9 Months with Courteney Cox), she’s also been missing her boyfriend, Johnny McDaid. “I have not seen him for so long. We spent a lot of time on Facebook but I just miss his physical touch. This is hard,” she revealed. The Friends reunion, which is the first time all six of the OG cast members will have gotten together to reminisce about the series since it wrapped in 2004, was originally supposed to tape this month but has been delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic. It was meant to coincide with the launch of the new Warner Media streaming service, HBO Max, which opens up on May 27. When it launches, six new original series—including The Not-Too-Late Show With Elmo and the very much talked about reality series Legendary with judge Jameela Jamil—will launch with it. All episodes of Friends, The Big Bang Theory and HBO classics like The Sopranos will make up the huge library.HBO Max as a service won’t be available in Canada, but Bell Media has announced it has the rights to air all original Warner Bros. shows that launch on the service including the previously announced Gossip Girl reboot and Kaley Cuoco’s new project, The Flight Attendant. Meanwhile, many classic HBO titles (including The Sopranos) are still available to binge on Crave.[video_embed id='1952479']BEFORE YOU GO: Baby can't stop laughing at his excited dog[/video_embed]
