Fans can’t blame Teigen for dealing with a slew of emotional ups and downs right now. After all, 2020 has been hard on her. After a very public pregnancy announcement in the music video for husband John Legend’s single “Wild,” she suffered a miscarriage at 20 weeks. Teigen also shared that sad news in a very public way, via heartbreaking Instagram photos and a quick Twitter announcement.Later, she opened up about the ordeal in a powerful essay for Medium, describing what happened and why she chose to talk about it. She also thanked everyone who had reached out to share love and support. “Some of the best letters started with, ‘You don’t have to respond to this, but…’. After we first lost Jack, I found myself incredibly worried that I wasn’t able to thank everyone for their extreme kindness,” she wrote at the time. “Many shared incredible personal experiences, some shared books and poems. I wanted to thank everyone, share our story with each individual person. But I knew I was in no state to. For me, the ‘no need to respond’ note was such a true relief. I thank you for each and every one of those.”Since losing baby Jack, Teigen and Legend have continued to heal by giving back to others. They were among the many celebrities who threw their support behind President-elect Joe Biden in the final days leading up to the American election, and they also recently announced a partnership with Ronald McDonald House Charities. Their goal is to help raise $100 million so that kids receiving medical treatments can still be near their families. On the home front, the duo continues to commemorate their fifth family member as well. Earlier this month they got matching tattoos to complement the ones they already have for son Miles, 2, and daughter Luna, 4. Recently, Teigen also revealed that she’s found “A little bit of sunshine” lately as her family continues to grieve together.“You learn how to cope with it. I am very proud to say that there's multiple different therapies I'm using to hopefully become the same person that I was, and I'm okay with that," Teigen told People in an interview. "I'm okay with allowing myself to have bad days and good days."Here’s hoping the mom has many more good days than bad in her near future.[video_embed id='2084084']Before you go: Chrissy Teigen and John Legend reveal why they publicly shared the loss of their baby[/video_embed]I’m not tweeting much because I’m honestly in a bit of a grief depression hole but do not worry as I have so much help around me to get better and I’ll be fixed soon. they’ll call when im better and ready for pickup and u can swing by and grab me ok? thank u and love you!
