As sure as the world still turns, Chrissy Teigen is never, ever one to shy away from having an opinion. It’s not just what millions of fans have come to expect from her, but it’s also why they love her. So no one should have been surprised when Teigen took to social media on March 18 to clap back at Ivanka Trump’s (potentially?) tone deaf coronavirus tweets about how to entertain the kids at home while social distancing. It all started when Trump decided to share some advice on how to amuse the wee ones during the pandemic, and so she posted a picture of herself and her kids having a campout in the living room. “Plan a living room camp out!” she wrote, with details on pitching the tent and planning some snacks. “A fun activity that also brings family together for a meal!” She then encouraged her followers to share their own ideas under #TogetherApart. Instead of ideas, it didn’t take long for people to chime in with criticism, sarcastic comments and photos, including shots of immigrant children who have been separated from their parents at the borders and are essentially sleeping in cells and on mats with aluminum blankets. However Teigen decided to take Trump to task over another important issue: getting enough testing kits for people with Covid-19 symptoms. “After we quote pack unquote sandwiches can we please have Covid tests,” she wrote back.[video_embed id='1705761']RELATED: John Legend says meeting Chrissy Teigen wasn't love at first sight[/video_embed]Teigen followed that tweet up with a bunch of crazy-eyed emojis and then called Trump out for using a clothing rack and not “taped together brooms” as per her instructions. Although there were plenty of others who weighed in with their own thoughts on the family project, it quickly became clear that the picture wasn’t even a new one—eagle-eyed followers pointed out that Trump had used the exact same photo before to show how her family was coping with a snowstorm in 2014.Trump didn’t respond to Teigen, but her father has certainly made his feelings about the model and her husband, John Legend, known in the past. After the celebrity duo openly opposed Donald Trump’s politics he called them out in his own exhausting Twitter account, calling Legend a “boring musician” and Teigen a “filthy mouthed wife.” For her part, Teigen caused even more controversy on March 17 when she called Melania Trump a “wifebot.”Online political strife aside, the boring musician and his filthy mouthed wife have been keeping plenty busy during their social distancing. Legend performed a live concert on Instagram earlier in the week, Teigen is “currently sleeping with People’s Sexiest Man Alive,” and the couple have been busy catching up on Peaky Blinders.Teigen also has a new Quibi reality show coming out on April 6, Chrissy’s Court, in which people argue their small claims problems in front of the personality. She then has the authority to make legally binding decisions. And you thought nothing could replace Judge Judy during these dark times. Now if only someone could help these celebs and politicians out in the public court of Twitter.[video_embed id='1924204']BEFORE YOU GO: Prime Minister Trudeau confirms U.S.-Canada border is closed[/video_embed]
