Her request got a ton of replies from neighbours who’d already, for some reason, stocked up on these insta-meals (and were perhaps hoping for a repeat of her legendary romaine-for-banana-bread trade).does anyone have any MRE's I can buy

The official military version isn’t sold to civilians but there are companies out there that produce similar products for regular people to buy. The question is: why would you want to? (Especially now that we’re all stuck at home getting up close and personal with our ovens and refrigerators and sourdough starters.) While the meals can hold some appeal for hikers and climbers, Chrissy, like the rest of us, isn’t going anywhere. Also, let’s just say it: a meal that come out of a bag probably doesn’t taste that great, a theory that more than one of Teigen’s followers confirmed through their enthusiasm to just get rid of the stuff:I’m in WeHo- Come through! pic.twitter.com/rEgzpsvZhK

Sometimes he eats them FOR FUN.

For Chrissy, however, this is less about fine dining and more about the experience of ‘roughing it.’ She and husband John Legend have purchased a tent, sleeping bags, and headlamps for a fun COVID-era backyard camping adventure with their two little ones, which is actually pretty sweet. In her mind, the MREs are required to complete the scene. Our recommendation? Maybe just barbecue some S’mores.[video_embed id='1928071']RELATED: Chrissy Teigen and John Legend will stop at nothing to get some romaine lettuce[/video_embed]I have a couple. You don't have to pay, because I wouldn't dare charge anyone for the "privilege" of choking one of these down.
