If her Twitter presence is any indication, Chrissy Teigen's life can get a little, well, hectic. Between her own work on her site, cookbooks, partnerships, TV hosting gigs, two kids under the age of four, too many pets to name and her husband's globe-spanning profession, it's hard to believe the whole wild Teigen-Legend family dynamic is anything other than exhausting. That's exactly the case for Chrissy though, who says they "keep creating chaos" and you get the feeling it's right where she belongs.etalk sat down with Chrissy in New York to talk about everything from motherhood to her royals obsession to the bizarre items people send to her house to just laughing off all the things you can't control. She demonstrated the latter by being totally cool with three-year-old daughter Luna crashing the interview, while crawling on the ground like a cat, which is her newest obsession Teigen told us, as long as she could sit still (spoiler: she couldn't). And what might cause quite a kerfuffle to another working mom is just part of a normal Chrissy day."You really have to be able to laugh it off," she told host Sonia Beeksma, specifically about how Twitter-parenting adds to the drama. "You're really just going to drive yourself nuts trying to please everybody."[video_embed id='1905650']RELATED: Shay Mitchell doesn't care what you think about her parenting[/video_embed]

Parenting in public

"You fix your own energy and your own mood and you see things in a different way," she offered. Chrissy added that she's learned to tune out a lot of what the Online Parent Police have to say about her and take only the things that can actually help her with being the best mom ever. She's not above admitting that some of the criticism is constructive and that most of it comes from a place of genuine care."When you parent in front of the public, you learn fast!" she said. That's some helpful advice for friend and fellow Pampers spokes-mom Shay Mitchell. Chrissy has been repping the diapers brand for years, but Shay is new to the job... as well as motherhood in general. Chrissy adds: "It's important for people to know that as bad as this day is, it's going to be better tomorrow. But then as great as this day is, it's going to get bad, too."

Those John Legend leggings

Advice like that has us wondering: how do you classify a day when you receive leggings with your husband's face on the posterior? Earlier in February, Chrissy shared a photo of herself on Instagram wearing said leggings with the caption, "we get ... really random stuff sent to the house" and it turns out she really meant it."Everyone's like, 'What do you mean sent to the house?' I'm like 'Truly. I open up the mailbox and I open up a package and it will be either ranch dressing with my face on it or leggings with John's face on it,'" she laughed, adding that the leggings themselves are really quite flattering. "They actually have this created silhouette—like whatever the framing of it is makes it look like I have a butt."

'I love their power move'

Somehow in all that chaos, Chrissy still has time for a bit of stargazing of her own. She admits to being a royal-watcher (same!) and applauded Meghan and Harry's decision to step back from the spotlight."I'm so excited for them," she said. "I'm a big royals fan and I love Meghan. I love their power move of being able to just do what they want—to take a look at their family and just do what's best for their family. I think that's fantastic."Well, now she's got us hoping for some Chrissy-John-Meghan-Harry double dates—perhaps at the Sussexes new home in Canada.[video_embed id='1905415']BEFORE YOU GO: Harry and Meghan will break free from royal life by end of March[/video_embed]
