Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger welcome their first child together

Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger are the proud new parents to a baby girl. After announcing their pregnancy this past spring, Schwarzenegger gave birth over the weekend.Pratt and Schwarzenegger shared the first picture of their new bundle of joy on Monday morning, with each parent uploading a sweet shot of the pair holding their baby’s hand. “We are beyond thrilled to announce the birth of our daughter, Lyla Maria Schwarzenegger Pratt. We couldn’t be happier,” wrote Pratt and Schwarzenegger in identical social messages. “Both mom and baby are doing great. We are extremely blessed. Love Katherine and Chris.”

Schwarzenegger’s younger brother Patrick was the first to confirm the news of baby Lyla’s arrival. In a video shot by paparazzi on Sunday, Patrick thanks the cameraman for congratulating him on becoming a new uncle. "They're doing great, just got her a little gift," says Patrick, holding up a small white box. It’s unclear when Schwarzenegger gave birth, but it appears that the couple are already home with their new bundle of joy. Schwarzenegger is the oldest child of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver, and the birth of Katherine’s daughter means that her famous parents are now first-time grandparents. "As soon as Kat and the baby got home from the hospital, Maria and Arnold visited. They are both proud grandparents of course. They also visited over the weekend.
