Only a few months ahead of celebrating their first wedding anniversary, Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger are expecting their first child together. Although the newlyweds have yet to make their own announcement or reveal how far along Katherine is, multiple sources confirmed the happy news to media outlets this weekend.Only a few hours after news broke on the couple’s pregnancy, the new parents-to-be were spotted bike riding with Schwarzenegger’s family through Venice, California. Pratt was photographed wearing a bandanna over his face as a makeshift mask while Schwarzenegger opted for sunglasses, a baseball hat and a loose white long sleeve shirt. The couple were joined by Schwarzenegger’s parents, actor and former governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and journalist Maria Shriver.[video_embed id='5998835859001']RELATED: How Chris Pratt felt asking for Arnie's blessing to marry Katherine[/video_embed]Pratt and Schwarzenegger have been doing their part to stop the spread of coronavirus by physical distancing from others and helping to raise money for those impacted by the pandemic. On March 10, Schwarzenegger released her fourth book, The Gift of Forgiveness: Inspiring Stories from Those Who Have Overcome the Unforgivable, that features interviews and stories from people like Elizabeth Smart, and though she'd initially planned a physical book tour to support it, she moved the event online in the wake of the ongoing global pandemic.Pratt and Schwarzenegger have also been giving their support to charities like Save the Children and No Kid Hungry, adding their name to the growing list of celebrities reading children’s books online. The couple opted for Schwarzenegger’s 2017 children’s book Maverick and Me in a recent Instagram Live, sharing the story of how Schwarzenegger found her real dog. That’s pretty cute.
Like many others, the pair have been passing their time at home by keeping busy in the kitchen, where Schwarzenegger is attempting to improve her cooking and baking skills while Pratt provides commentary. Every baker needs an official taster, right? The Jurassic Park actor and Schwarzenegger first began dating in the summer of 2018 after being introduced by Shriver. Pratt was reportedly quick to introduce Schwarzenegger to his seven-year-old son Jack, whom he shares with ex-wife Anna Faris. A source close to the couple told People in January 2019 that making sure Schwarzenegger was a good fit to be Jack’s stepmom was important to Pratt. “Instead of mostly enjoying solo, romantic dates, Chris’ son from early on was a very big part of their dating life,” said the source, adding “Katherine is like a big kid and loves doing activities with Jack. She loves that Chris is a dad. Seeing Chris with Jack made Katherine positive from early on that Chris is ‘the one.’”The pair got engaged in January 2019 and were married the following June at the San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito, California. Making joint announcements on their social media pages, Pratt and Schwarzenegger wrote, “We became husband and wife in front of God, our families and those we love. It was intimate, moving and emotional. We feel so blessed to begin this new chapter of our lives. We are so thankful to our families and our friends who stood with us.”

The event was attended by Schwarzenegger’s famous extended family, as well as many of Pratt’s A-list friends, including his Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn and Parks and Rec co-star Rob Lowe. Pratt and Lowe recently reunited onscreen, along with the rest of their Parks and Rec cast to film a virtual reunion episode that will air on April 30 and help raise money for Feeding America.[video_embed id='-1']BEFORE YOU GO: Watch Katharine McPhee adorably hijack David Foster's performance[/video_embed]
