Cardi B is no longer interested in a romantic relationship with her soon-to-be ex-husband Offset, but that doesn’t mean the rapper wants her ex’s name dragged through the mud. He may no longer be her partner, but he is still her child’s father.October 8, one of Cardi’s fans tweeted the Grammy winner in reference to her ex, writing “We don’t like Offset sis and it’s our right to drag him when we see fit.” In a since-deleted tweet that was screen-grabbed by People, Cardi quickly responded by shutting down any negative talk around her ex. “I don't give a f— if you don't like him," wrote the “WAP” rapper. "I don't talk to him but you not going to disrespect my child father. I will slap the s— out of you in curtesy of Kulture.”Continuing, Cardi pointed out that the future success of her ex-husband plays an important role in her daughter’s life. "If he die, go broke, you not the one that's going to raise my kid & you not the 1 who pays for her s—," said Cardi.Cardi B and Offset were secretly married in September 2017 and welcomed their first child, Kulture Kiari Cephus, the following year. The couple’s relationship has been marred by cheating scandals throughout their courtship. The pair have split several times due to Offset’s affairs, with their divorce heavily rumored to be the result of yet another transgression by the Atlanta native. Cardi B cleared up the rumors only a few days after filing for divorce. Speaking directly to her fans on Instagram Live, Cardi said that her decision to divorce Offset was not because the rapper had impregnated another woman, but simply because she was tired of the pair constantly fighting and not "seeing eye to eye."“When you feel like it’s just not the same anymore, before you actually get cheated on, I’d rather just leave,” said Cardi via Uproxx. “Nothing crazy out of this world happened, sometimes people really do grow apart. I been with this man for four years. I have a kid with this man, I have a household with this man. Sometimes you’re just tired of the arguments and the build-up. You get tired sometimes and before something happens, you leave.”[video_embed id='2038624']RELATED: What’s your reaction to Cardi B filing for divorce from Offset? [/video_embed]Not only did Cardi defend her ex on social media this week, she was also forced to defend herself after #CardiBSupportsTerrorism began trending on Twitter. Earlier this week, Cardi shared a poster for a virtual Armenia fundraiser on her social media page and was attacked by fans from Azerbaijan. Unaware that the two countries are currently engaged in a deadly war over the Nagorno-Karabakh territory, Cardi uploaded a voice memo on October 6 apologizing for her post and admitting that she was unaware of the conflict, which she has now educated herself on.“My wish is, since I did a little bit of research today, because you guys left me so much comments, my wish is that both the countries would just be at peace,” said Cardi. “You guys already have big pieces of land. There’s no tiny land that is worth chaos, death, fighting, especially in this year. This is such a bad year, there’s a lot of sickness. I feel like God is trying to give us a message.”[video_embed id='2050630']BEFORE YOU GO: TikTok star seeing success after viral Fleetwood Mac video [/video_embed]
