It already felt like an undisputed fact, Bella Hadid is certainly a gorgeous lady, but now the model has officially been named the most beautiful woman in the world, according to the Greek Golden Ratio of Beauty Phi. London-based celebrity plastic surgeon Dr. Julian De Silva spoke with Harper’s Bazaar and shared that Hadid’s face was 94.35 percent accurate to the ‘golden ratio’ according to the Greek system, noting Hadid "was the clear winner when all elements of the face were measured for physical perfection." Some days we feel like we can relate to celebs and other days. . . not so much.Dr. De Silva shared his exact findings on Instagram, writing that Hadid’s "…eyes, eyebrows, nose, lips, chin, jaw and facial shape were measured and came closest to the ancient Greeks' idea of perfection," and, it should be noted, as one of the top models working today, confirmed by today's idea of perfection, too.The golden ratio considers placement of features on the face, as well as face shape, with Hadid’s chin scoring a nearly perfect 99.7 percent, with her forehead close behind at 97 percent and her eye position at 97.65 percent.Combining an ancient scoring system with new technology, Dr. De Silva said he compiled data on Hadid’s face by using new computer mapping techniques, which "allow us to solve some of the mysteries of what it is that makes someone physically beautiful and the technology is useful when planning patients’ surgery." We have a feeling many of De Silva’s future patients will be asking for the ‘Bella’ at their next visit.

Today I have been featured in the @dailymail and @bazaaruk, declaring @BellaHadid the most beautiful woman in the world - according to the 'Golden Ratio' equation devised in Ancient Greece (and Beyoncé is a close second). The 23-year-old was found to be 94.35% 'accurate' to the Golden Ratio of Beauty Phi - which measure physical perfection. Her eyes, eyebrows, nose, lips, chin, jaw and facial shape were measured and came closest to the ancient Greeks' idea of perfection. Singer @Beyoncé, 38, was second with 92.44%, actress @AmberHeard, 33, was third with 91.85% and pop star @ArianaGrande, 26, was fourth with 91.81%. Kate Moss, 45, the highest rated Briton and in sixth place overall, had a reading of 91.05% - well ahead of her rival and the UK's other most successful supermodel, @CaraDelevingne, 27, who was in tenth place with 89.99%. The list was compiled using the latest computerised mapping techniques which allow us to solve some of the mysteries of what it is that makes someone physically beautiful and the technology is useful when planning patients' surgery. The Golden Ratio was a mathematical equation devised by the Greeks in an attempt to measure beauty. #news #beauty #plasticsurgery #harleystreet #beautifacation #beautifulfaces #jdsgoldenratio

Used as an aid in the creation of artistic masterpieces, Dr. De Silva explained how the Golden Ratio is applied to the faces of mere mortals.“Measurements are taken from the forehead hairline to the spot between the eyes, from the spot between the eyes and the bottom of the nose and from the bottom of the nose to the bottom of the chin. A person is considered to be more beautiful if the numbers are equal,” notes De Silva. “Attention is then given to the symmetry and proportion of the face. To be deemed 'beautiful' according to the Golden Ratio, the length of the ear must be equal to the length of the nose and the width of an eye should be equal to the distance between the eyes.”The supermodel, who recently celebrated her birthday, was in good company on the list, which included Beyoncé in the number two spot at a rating of 92.44 percent, who tied with the eldest lady on the list at 38 years old. The popstar has a high forehead and brow area score and a nearly perfect face shape score at 99.6 percent. Also on the list was Amber Heard (91.85 percent), Ariana Grande (91.81 percent), Taylor Swift (91.64 percent), Kate Moss (91.05 percent), Scarlett Johansson (90.91 percent), Natalie Portman (90.51 percent), Katy Perry (90.08 percent) and Cara Delevingne (89.99 percent).
